    Snus conservation

    Hoi!

Well, I just ordered my first package of swedish snus and I have a question about how store it. Im gonna open 2 tins, and I guess I can have those ones on my room without going bad, but wasap with the rest of the tins? Its neccesary have them on fridge or I can have em on a packet meanwhile I dont open them?(Im meaning on use em on less than 2 month  ).

    Thanks on advance.

    Regards.

You could store it refrigerated or frozen, either would work for this amount of time.

Take a look at the bottom of the cans when you get them, the date will read "best before day/month/year" If you think you will have it long past that date, tolls it in a freezer bag and store it away. I have about 25 cans in the fridge and 15 or so in the freezer right now. If I dont get to some of the ones in the fridge in the next couple weeks, i'll freeze them. The portions I have dont have an expiration date until about july, so I will just leave them in the fridge.

The fridge is the way to go, if you can consume your snus up to the expiration date. If you need to keep your snus longer, then the freezer is an option. Nobody ever reported problems with frozen snus. Until now, I never used the freezer (I'm not so much a friend of frozen "food" in general).

Snus can virtually not go bad (in the sense of rotting) and I've used many cans, that were more than 2 months past the expiration date. The taste can go bad, though.

Never miss to store your snus in a plastic-bag (or something similar) to prevent the snus from drying out (which can spoil the taste more than everything else).

        Cheers!

I'm currently keeping my Snus in a 50 bottle wine cellar/refridgerator. The only problem I have is that I need to drink a couple bottles in order to make room for more Snus.

Yeah I guess it really isn't a problem.

Drinking wine to make room for snus... sounds like a win/win situation to me.
