Awe damn. I just took out all my frozen snus and packed em with an apple rind and threw em back in the fridge so I would have whatever flavour I am ready for whenever.

    Now you tell me...

LaZeR it's clear you screwed up all of your snus and it's no longer usable, please PM me for a shipping address so I can dispose of it properly.

A few drops of water preferably distilled should keep it fresh with no chance of mold. I use a a few drops of bottled or tap usually stir it up and stick in the fridge overnight. Tastes like new again!

That doesn't make sense. What shop, and what amounts are you comparing?

I usually revive mine with just some tap water. IMO the amount added depends on how dry the snus is, your moisture preference, and how much of the snus you've already used. Add the water or preferred liquid drop by drop to the snus, and stir with a toothpick or something similar every so often to distribute and see where the moisture level is at. I always add a couple extra drops once I get it to the consistency I like knowing that the snus will absorb some of the liquid or some will evaporate off, and then pack it densely into the side of the can to reduce surface area and prevent further moisture loss. Good luck!

So you guys are most using the apple method.

I'll try both (water and apple) to see which one works best for me.

I've tried rehydrating a tin of General Los and poured like 20 drops of apple juice in the can (the taste completely changed) it was a lot sweeter.

A can of los has more tobacco in it. maybe that's the way they calculate it?? dunno.

I would imagine it would be sweet. Apple juice is loaded with sugar.

Yeah i wouldn't use any kind of juice it's too sweet as you found out... Some use an apple slice, but I would only use distilled water or bottled purified water, That is what i use

I use distilled water also. If you use an eye dropper to add the water it will keep you from accidentally adding too much.

If I had a spray bottle I would use it with distilled water.

I would caution against using anything with sugars and acids (like juices) as they'll begin to lower the pH while creating an environment for bacteria and mold to grow.
