How do you carry around your Snus?

Currently I carry my daily stash of General portions in an Icetool Portion Snusbox in my pocket (normally back pocket in dress pants, khakis, or jeans, which sometimes requires me to shift it to a front pocket for comfy sitting; side pocket in cargo shorts/pants). The box is way cool--and I got it just in the nick of time before the new warning labels came out--but it is heavier and bulkier in my pocket than I would prefer. If they had a version that was smaller and lighter that would be perfection. (The snusbox is designed to be big enough for the snus tin to fit inside. But I just dump portions in anyway, so the extra size is superfluous.) Then I keep a tin of loose and usually an old tin with a handful of some different variety of portions in my briefcase for a change-up while at the office.

I have experimented with different solutions to the carrying issue. When I first started snusing, I was resistant to carrying a tin or a large pill case in my pocket. I tried a very small pill case I found, but it was too small. I also tried a couple different little leather pouches--they felt nicer in my pocket than a tin, but were not satisfactory. They did not keep the snus moist, and they did not offer the convenience of the catch lid for disposal. So I finally gave up the idea of trying to reinvent the wheel and just got used to carrying a tin in my pocket, and, like I said, now I use the Icetool box.

Wonder why no one has come out with a carry case for snus that you could clip on your belt like a cell phone, I think it would be pretty cool I mean, I never would have a carry case for ciggs, But just think... You could whip out your can from your holster and say why it's SNUS when someone askes what is that round case for

There are such cases. Northerner sells a couple different styles of snus belt clip cases. (Not sure if you can currently order them to the U.S. They are not listed as being available from the U.S. warehouse.)

There are also plenty of carrying cases for dip that should work just as well for carrying snus. E.g., http://www.smokeshack.com/browseprod...Belt-Case.html. I have toyed with the idea of getting a nice looking leather dip carrying case for my snus to keep the bulk out of my pocket. The main thing stopping me is that I already carry my iPhone on a belt clip, and that is already one more thing clipped to my belt than I like to have. (Eternal dilemma for me--On the one hand, I don't like a lot of bulk in my pockets; on the other hand, I have lots of crap that I feel like I need to carry around; on the third hand, I don't like having a bunch of stuff hanging off my belt. I should probably just break down and go for the ubercool option of wearing a fanny pack! )

For work I usually have one can in my pocket and one can in the lunchbox. Other times I take one can or sometimes for short trips just pop a portion for the ride and leave the can at home.

I keep it simple one can of los and one can of portions on me at all times. I've yet to run out during the day.

As far as a belt clip pouch I think if you had that and a cell phone clipped on your belt you'd be looking a bit to much like batman....

For the single can:

Denim Snusbag
Holds a regular size snus can
(Plastic buckle, Zipper)

For multi-use:

Black Multibag
Holds a snus can, money, MP 3
(Straps -- place on your arm)

I use the Denim Snusbag every time I'm out.
Usually only bring one variety anyway.
(That's all I have hangin' on!)

Have not had occasion yet to use the Multibag.

Got them both from Getsnus pre-PACT, although they shipped from Sweden.
Northerner Sweden still carries them (under Accessories).

I've just searched Google for "Arctic Zone" and found nothing that comes close to this.

This would be cool to use if I want to take along a variety of snus (and things) for the day.

Care to share where this, or something fairly similar, might be found?

That particular model is discontinued (yeah I like it so much I tried to get a backup). But it's just an insulated lunch bag. You can get them all over like Rite-Aid, Target, etc. Not sure why google failed you, but if you search "arctic zone lunch tote" they will pop up. I'm sure other brands should be good too. Just put one of those blue ice things from the freezer in there and you're good to go.

Depends what I'm doing.. If I'm doing portions all day then it's just a mini can with random portions in it.

Same here - i just grab some portions from the fridge before i leave for the day....

I usually have a can or two in my pockets along with a snuffbox and bullet. If I'm going to work, I take a backpack with me, so I'll put a few cans/tins in a ziploc and toss them in the backpack, so I can have a variety.

I NEVER carry a can of snus in my pocket unless it's from my car to where I'm walking into.

I don't like the can ring, or not being able to get at my snus while driving. Between tight pockets and a seatbelt, getting shit out of my pockets in the car is a PITA. Plus snus gets warm being in my pocket. YUCK.

Do you carry a backpack? You can buy a can holder that fits on your belt, but be careful. Swedish snus cans are bigger than dip cans. That won't solve your commingle issue either.

If I'm going to be out and about for a while I use an old Wise tin. They're not "round" and are half as thick as a normal snus can. I usually just put one kind in at a time.

The rest of the time I keep three, maybe four cans of snus in my briefcase. I leave one or two cans in my desk drawer at work. I don't have any in my car. At home I keep four or five cans around opened. One loose, one regular portion, one flavored portion, a stark portion, and something random.

I have seen some sweet partitions for snus cans. You can MacGyver one out of old cans, or plastic bits.

I don't mix too much stuff, so I don't bother.

There's some nice pillboxes on eBay.

Most of my work shirts have a pocket so I put one can in there (usually the lös) then the portion in the pocket, but it goes on my desk most of the day.

Thanks for all the Replies and suggestions keep them coming.... I don't carry a backpack around, Nor A briefcase or work in an office with a desk. I guess all of you who have a office job really wouldn't have this dilema. never thought of that. what if you all didn't have an office job where you bring a backpack, briefcase, work shirt, dress jacket or a desk then what would you do when you want to carry along variety?
