    Daily use goes in the fridge, and long term storage in the freezer. Generally speaking things due better when kept under consistent conditions, instead of drastic changes. Frozen snus should stay frozen until use, as opposed to warming, and then chilling over and over. Just a theory, and I don't know how much that applies to snus, but it's a good policy to live by :^)

      unopened = bagged in freezer
      opened = shelf in fridge door
      1 or 2 daily use cans = room temp until gone

      I have no problem popping one in straight from the fridge or the freezer. Some actually taste better chilled.

        I don't keep a big enough stash to bother freezing. Open cans stay in my jacket pocket or bag until finished. Unopened are in various places. Some in my desk drawer at work, some in the fridge, others stashed in a box in the spare room which maintains a pretty stable cool temperature.

        I've stopped being too obsessive with keeping it chilled recently since a batch of thunder that was chilled from purchase ended up totally dry and vile to taste after a couple of weeks in the fridge, and some General that I left at room temp for the same length of time was (is) still absolutely fine.

          Fridge for open cans and sealed cans that I expect to open within a month or less. Freezer for longer-term storage. I keep my daily carry of portions in an Icetool portion box that I leave unrefrigerated (refill it every couple of days from open cans in the fridge).

            What is an Icetool portion box?

                    So far, I keep all unopened and portions in the freezer, and opened los in the fridge. For daily use, I take ~5 tins to work, so they are at room temperature for about 10 hours, then back in the freezer when I get home. Outside of work, I generally keep 2-3 tins on me, depending on how long I think I'm going to be out (usually a frosted/mint portion, a white portion, and a strong portion).

                      opened for daily use in the crisper in the fridge -

                        No, I don't. I found out that the snuff stays very good if you keep it out of the freezer and use it all in 3/4 days. The taste is better for me if not cold.

                          I keep my open cans (5) in the fridge, in the butter dish, behind the little door on the door of the fridge...just in case any of you want to break in and steal my stash. Then there is the freezer in the cellar...that has two boxes of snus. One is the on-deck box where I keep 10-20 cans that I have removed from the vacuum seal but keep frozen until the butter dish is compromised. The big box has several vacuum sealed bags of 10 cans, mixed in each. This system keeps everything fresh and some of it is well over a year past the date.

                            Unopened in freezer, opened in fridge, all in ziplock bags.

                                Closed and long term use in ziploc's in the freezer, open long short term use in fridge inside the crisper set to max humidity in a ziploc, current use room temp. Though, I threw my offroad frosted op in the freezer door after leaving it in my car during a long hot day... Stupid me :P
