Figured this might be the best place to explain my situation.
I am in the Army, deployed to Afghanistan. On my mid-tour leave I decided to try some Camel Snus. I had been using "dip" to help quit smoking before I got home. I was looking for something that was less unattractive to my wife, and that wouldn't tear up my lip and get stuck in my teeth. So I immediately fell in love with Snus. I pretty much had one in my lip the entire two weeks!
So when it was time to leave I grabbed 5 tins, and threw them in my pack. I figured this would hold me over until I got back, and then I would order in bulk through the mail. I could go back to the dip for a little bit while I waited if I ran out.
So here I am, back in Afghanistan. I tired a few online shops, looking to pick up 20 cans Jakobssons, and low and behold they won't ship! It's telling me that I am only allowed .627 lbs, and is asking me to remove 18 of the 20 cans! Other sites I checked won't ship at all!
I do a little reading, and discover the PACT act. Oh, how ashamed I am of this President and his administration right now!
So what are my options? I don't want to go back to smoking, although the urge is still very strong. I don't like using "dip" but it's about the only option I have right now. I need to ship to APO. I would like to order directly, but if that is not an option then I could at least order it back to my house and have my wife send it in a care package. Worst come to worse I'll stick with the Camel and just have her buy up as much as she can from the Post Exchange, and send it out. I'd really like to the try some "real" Snus though. :-)
So that's my situation. What are my options here? Thanks in advance!
