Deployed to Afghanistan. Need Snus. (PACT)

If we want to consolidate, GoVegan sent me a PM and he is going to contribute some good snus for me to send along with mine to Afghanistan. I have the APO address and advised TMac that I hope to ship by the end of this week coming up, ie Friday. I'm not going to make a separate post about it -- if anyone reads this thread and wants to throw in a couple cans feel free to post here or PM me.

I like the way this one came about -- brother needed some snus and decided to try his luck with us lot and it was well-played. I happen to have several cans that some people love but I know I won't use, and figured the best thing to do with them is to give em to someone who not only asked for it, but is both deserving and in need. It's not a ton so this isn't a big ass PP-style snus attack but it should treat him right. So yeah hit me up if you have anything lying around that you want me to send along with mine, or send it yourself, again I'm not trying to rally donations as has been done in the past.

Seriously though I don't want money for this as I am not going to buy snus for this guy. It's just not that kind of donation. It's going to be a smaller one if I'm handling it, and CoderGuy has already graciously volunteered some funds for shipping. However, if people want this to be a big one (and I'm sure TMac would appreciate that even more) then another member is more than welcome to take the reins and I will gladly send my snus to that person.

Actually I'm beginning to think its better to fullfill the small requests from individuals than to send out mega amounts that may not ever get used up or goes bad too quickly in that environment,, tho I think every ounce of tobacco is consumed over there.

If I were you I would go to either of the TWO military contribution threads and make a copy of the letter I send with the snus to send a few copies along with the snus. Edit it as needed for the situation but please send it along for the men that don't quite understand the differance between dip and snus, along with where and why we do this. Surely the individual you send to knows all about snus but his buddies may not know anything about it. Think about it, all the pertinant info is there. Just copy and paste.

No really, thanks Crow and PP and BigBlue and Coderguy and Czechczar. Still waiting on Czechczar's but it's probably in my mailbox now. Haven't heard from GoVegan after a few PMs several days ago but that's no problem.

Kind of funny that I'm doing this right this moment as I am entirely out of snus that I enjoy. I am sending off some good stuff that just doesn't fit my preferences, then I am debating trying to not order again and quit. I might use those weird Indian minis that I mentioned in the other thread as a crutch to quit on. Not sure yet.
