There we go! It has arrived! I'm having the Schmaltzer in right now... It's a bit odd... My first snuff in 1½ year, and before that I only tried it once when I was somewhat drunk( and YES it was snuff ).
I'm concerned if I'm doing it right. I should place a bit on something for example the back of a teaspoon and just slightly smell it, right? 'Cause that's what I've done. Sadly my one nostril is a bit stuffed so half of it didn't work. The other one seems good tho

Yea, that'll work. There's a lot of ways to take snuff. If you're having issues, we can tweak the method, but if it works, it works.

I have some thoughts about using coconut oil, I like it, but it does not do well with a finer grind. The oil binds it too much. But I want to try this out with a Gekachelter Virginie (Bernards), a courser snuff. The coconut, courser snuff, and the sweeter Virgina base tobacco seems a natural for a Schmaltzer.

I have successfully used 100% Virgin coconut oil to flavor snuff, but I used the indirect method and let the smell permeate the snuff. A schmaltzer is a whole nother animal though. I suggest using both methods to get the coconut, but have less binding. Thank you for including me, and hope my feedback is taken well. It is fun to play with this snuff, eh?
