Well, from today's posts in the Noob Box Pass II thread, it looks like that box may be lost in the mail, although danielan says he's going to wait until Thursday to see if it arrives. So I guess the best course of action would be to wait until then.

If you want to join NBP III, I'll add you to the list. But unless NB II shows up at danielan's, the Kardus may be permanently lost in limbo. :-( Cross your fingers, everybody, it could just be slow in arriving.

This box pass was supposed to start when Noob Box Pass II ended, using what was left over to start the new one. Unfortunately, one of the participants from NBP II has apparently decided to keep the box for himself.

What A shame someone would do this as I also wanted to get in on this, But even if it starts up again i see box pass III is full and would like to be in on the next one

The participants need to be somewhat known on the board like Chad said. It is sad that some people are straight out thieves.

Yeah, I'm totally willing to do this, I've got a bunch of stuff (as always) I can contribute, but I want to make sure it doesn't get lost again/stolen.

Especially with PACT, I think box passes are still a good thing.

One idea I had was to start one person as the route master. Anyone who wants to contribute snus to the noob box can send it to the route master, who will collect snus for a week. At the end of the week the box will be full and begin it's journey along it's way to those who are new to snus to try it out. This way if you're wanting to dump some stuff you can put it into this box and get it going. Then it can circulate to those who are new, and it will in turn be full enough that the newbies won't have to put much new into it.

That being said, I think a minimum of 150 posts would be a good starting point, and a regular posting frequency. Entrants will be evaluated by route master to ensure the box won't be lost.

Route master should be a forum regular with 500+ posts.

Well, I agreed to be "route master" originally, and I meet the qualifications you mentioned, Chad. I see no reason for that to change.

As for those who asked to be in this box pass, and meet the 150 posts & regular posting frequency criteria, I see the following members: 1. c.nash, 2. StuKlu. If I've missed anyone who qualifies, please correct my oversight. Looks like we've got plenty of room for more qualified entrants.

If you want to contribute to this box pass before it gets started, PM me and I'll give you my mailing address. I'm not sure if a week is enough time to collect donations, though. How about this: I'll accept donations until Labor Day weekend, and I'll mail out the box the following week. If that works for everyone, we can get started.
