Yeah, he would only have had his PayPal deductions to pay on the Postage/Packing amount and Ebay would only have got 10% of the bid/BuyItNow amount.
I remember seeing items on Ebay UK where the BuyItNow price was 1p and the postage/packing £50. They clamped down on it though and you can't do that kind of stuff anymore. They impose upper limits for postage/packing depending on which category the item's in now. For instance when selling DVDs you can only charge a max of £1 postage/packing for standard delivery.

I would go with getsnus/northerner mainly because I don't like to make a big order, and while that 12-14 bucks shipping sucks, it's less than ordering from Sweden.
Is Premiumsnus still shipping to the US?
I just got up, and got my can of General Loose, and I thought to myself, this is wake and bake.

Once there are more choices in local stores I will probably be moving in that direction permanently as I have already started to but for now it is which drug dealer gives me the best quality for the best price. For the big three
Snuscentral- Great service, low listed prices, great quality, fast shipping, and has been overall a very informative/cult like site.
The flat rate of 30 bucks can be a bummer for small orders, no state taxes taken out
Buysnus- Great service, great quality, fast shipping but costly, higher listed prices, no state taxes taken out
Northerner- Great service, great quality for the most part, longer shipping times, state taxes taken out but is still the only one who is making a effort bringing in more snus choices to local stores. Hope to see a store in MN soon.

I think that is a good summation of the matter and is pretty much how I come down on itWhen it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

That'll go a lot farther than shares of RJR ever will.
That's all beside the point for me at this time. I don't have the money for snus, and couldn't afford it if it were shipping, and tax free. If I managed to scrape together a couple of dollars, I'd have to go with the absolute cheapest, regardless of personal philosophy. I have no idea who that is at this time, but it pays to shop around if you're trying to save every penny.
Anyway, the point is there's more to the equation than only money. America's gone to hell due to the $>* philosophy. We've lost our manufacturing, and we're losing our innovation, and our freedom. The end game needs to be considered, or you'll find yourself in a corner wondering what happened.
The future of snus distribution in America is not going to be decided by MaKe Webo/Buy/Premium/Snuscentral.com, it's going to be in the hands of Northerner USA. That's why I give out Rick Charles' business card to every tobacco store I walk into and pressure them into ordering the Gotlandssnus line under threat of duress.
Supporting Northerner in order to further their presence on the map is a noble cause no matter how you slice it, I've never said it wasn't. I just questioned PP's reasoning in doing so in his original post, which was because he was afraid to get a tax bill from The Man. He didn't say he bought from Northerner because he wanted to further the cause (which makes sense), he said he did it out of fear (which didn't make sense to me).
It caught me initially as blind brand loyalty which scares the living crap out of me. It's come to the point where we try to rationalize all of the negatives we can by coming up with the lame excuses for our favored companies. How far away are we from the day when you see a post like this? :
Well, yeah it's true that Swedish Match snus makes your testicles fall off. But it's cool with me- there's already enough children in the world and truth be told, those nuts just kind of hung there and got in the way. If you ask me, Swedish Match is doing the world a favor with their ball rot snus brands.

Wow, when I posted my comments yesterday I didn't think it would get this heated in here. All I gotta say is this, I am for everyone in this fight. I am not impartial to one on-line shop. While when I first started ordering my snus I used The Northerner due to the fact that I can trust them and had ordered from them a year prior. What kills me is the 85% Wholesale Cost PACT Taxes...
With The Northerner I could get less than 10 cans of snus for around $100 shipped, taxes, etc etc. The order I placed with SC and got yesterday was 25 cans at $100 shipped. Big difference.
While I am for doing the right thing, I don't think I should HAVE to pay taxes when there is no system in place for the government to collect the tax and give it to my state. I am not saying on-line tobacco shops are pocketing the money, but when there is no system in place...it promotes it IMHO.
I am not knocking on The Northerner, but when you buy a roll of snus and in just taxes you could almost buy another roll...thats just silly. Granted I'm sure I could just move to another state with a lower tax rate...then again thats just silly. There are a lot of unknowns here when it comes to the tobacco tax. I could be wrong and there could be a system in place to collect tax revenue or there might not be. All I gotta say is that my first order from SC went well...so well that I plan on ordering from them again. I am not saying I will never order from The Northerner again, just not right now.
***Just like any good American, I pay taxes on everything...just making sure the party van over there hears this***

Me, I've got no dog in the fight. I've got as many friends at the Northerner as I do at MaKe Webo, and I order my snus from both companies. Neither one gives me or anyone at the magazine free snus or discounts, I'm just another customer to both of them. If the shoe was on the other foot and someone said they appreciated paying more at Snuscentral because they liked paying more for shipping, it would have raised just as big a red flag as PP's original reasoning did to me.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I would assume it costs more to ship UPS from Sweden than from Pennsylvania, therefore $30 as opposed to $16 doesn't seem unreasonable to me. In either case Premium Snus is only charging $20 for UPS Express and the per roll cost is $13.00 less than Northerner and that is before the taxes. And the last time I ordered from Northerner the cans were covered with hideous stickers.
Of course I always pay the taxes directly to the state as required.
