I'm sorry but that's just paranoid. How much crap do you buy online from places right here in the US and how many times have you received a letter from the IRS regarding back taxes owed on Amazon orders? So what are the odds they would ever check out some small (relatively speaking) warehouse operation in Sweden? Hell, even if they did I seriously doubt the US government could demand records from a private foreign company anyway.
The IRS wouldn't send you something like that, your state revenue department would as states charge sales tax, not the federal government. In NJ they were going after people a while back buying cigarettes from indian reservation based webpages and sending them a tax bill. In NC we have a use tax that we are supposed to on our honor estimate, it is a similar thing.
Technically it probably wouldn't be the IRS asking Amazon about anything. The IRS doesn't have jurisdiction over state/local sales taxes.
There's still federal tobacco taxes involved. There's a few organizations with their fingers in the pie. I don't think any bans would come via taxing authority anyway, at least not directly. It would likely come through the FDA, who conveniently enough has no oversight, and is accountable to no one.
Edit:
That thought was kind of unfinished. What I had in mind was money to the government isn't the only reason for causing us problems. That's just the excuse to screw us over. It could come from RJR bitching about lost sales, anti tobacco zealots bitching about tobacco, or authoritarians claiming we're terrorists. Money is only the excuse, and not necessarily the primary concern, or coming from where you think it is.
