    Snus to Norway?

    Hi!

I'm very new with snus, started a little before christmas times. I like it very much, and there are no more relaxing stuff to do! But here in Norway Tobbacco and Alcohol is very expencive. A can of snus here costs 70-80 NOK (Norwegian krones). Which is about $13. It seems maybe not so expencive, but that is because the $ is so very low at the moment. You can take another example: A can in Sweden costs about 30-40 sek, which is about $5 or 31 NOK. As you see it is double that cheaper to use snus in Sweden that it is in Norway

But over to my point: I be searching a little around the internett, and found the website www.buysnus.com. It looks very cheap and they are shipping from Sweden. But i have som question about it: I see that the prize is very different, about how you choose your country? It also seems that they are not shipping to Norway. And if they do, i'm very sure that it will be stopped in the custom.

I read in the FAQ, that they mark their package with the real value and that it includes snus. Thats also bad, because there are very high customs on snus to Norway So anybody else that have figurered a way to buy snus from the www, cheap to Norway?

I was thinking about one method, if you know a guy in Sweden or USA. Buy snus from buysnus.com and ship it directly to his adress in Sweden. He repack the snus, mark it as anything else and with a lower value (the limit is 200 NOK, in Norway) I know it is kind of "illegal" but i will save alot of money on it.

Sorry for my bad english and some messy writing!

I would definitely check into that. There is a guy on You Tube that does reviews of snus named evelutionz. He is in Norway and said that if he orders snus online Northerner gets their money. The shipping company gets their money but he doesn't get his snus. So it sounds like a waste of time and money.

Posting the intent to commit a crime in a public forum is probably not the best idea for you or the forum. Be careful.

Hi! First of all, DO NOT order online if you live in Norway. It's illegal. When that's said, a can in Sweden costs about 50 NOK, so it isn't as cheap as you think. In Strømstad, some stores have a discount, though. When you look at our wages, it isn't cheaper to use snus in Sweden with a Swedish wage, than it is to snus in Norway with a Norwegian wage.

It must be possible to buy some snus from the internett, and "hide" it?

Our customs are really good. They know all the stores. It's not possible.

It is possible of you get a private person to sendt it. And just mark it as clothing or something. I've been doing it for alot of stuffs. Everyone in Norway, know about the "gift" and "lower value" trick?

                  Hi
Sorry no possiblity to my information. Norway customs scan everything and if does not contain Norwegian warning it will be returned and all snus will be taxes after norwegian law. So it is cheaper to buy it in Norway (or drive to sweden)... It is possible to order online in Norway on www.snus-ms.no which is a bit cheaper....

What do you mean about Norwegian Warning? Cause you see, i know about MANY that have ordered iphones/ipads/mobile phones and mutch more expensive stuff, and on all they packages are marked as a gift and with a very low value. They have never been stopt by the customs. So if the Norwegian Customs scans everything, is it very weird that something worth $500++ is coming truth and not some snus to max $100. But it waybe have something to do, that it is snus?

But if you all understand me right, this is the method that i want to test out: A person from Sweden/USA/UK (not norway) are buying 2 rolls of snus to his adress in his country. Pack it up, and then pack it down again. Mark the package as a "Birthday gift" with a value on $20 and send it to me?

If you buy an iphone they'll just see some electronic device, and pass it through. They don't open every package. But it's true that everything is scanned.

I'm active in the snus thread on a huge Norwegian forum. Out of a hundred, ZERO gets their snus through. Believe me, they'd rather check one package too much, than one package too little.

                          Hi
On tobacco (snus) everything has to have warning on local language... and if snus from sweden don't have that it is returned - even if the receiver is ready to pay the taxes
I do not know if the gift trick works.

One more question though, as I might have to go to Norway for a couple of days in may, I can bring a few cans with me without hazzle right?
