    Mailing snus home

If I mailed a buttload of snus home from Sweden, would it be alright to use the Swedish Post?- since it's not being sent from a retailer?

I searched the customs website about it, but it's really vague and only talks about agricultural stuff. Anyone well versed in P.A.C.T know something about this?

Pact Act forbids sending any kind of tobacco through US Postal Service, where it will go through if it's sent by Swedish Post. There is one exeptions - to any US Military address.

I order nasal snuff online to my PO box (usps) all the time and never had any problems whatsoever. The customs declaration clearly states that snuff is in the package.

You can ship tobacco through the PO for personal use, but it has to be under a certain weight. Now i'm sure a 'buttload' of snus would be over the limit, but the chances of them actually checking the package and confiscating anything are slim, not impossible, but slim.

I have just started trading snus I have in Australia for dip in the US. My freindly postal worker helped me out. I now mark the package "collectable containers".
