Ship to Iowa??

Anyone here from Iowa? Is it true I can't have tobacco ship to me if I have Iowa address? Any suggestions?

Yes sadly it is true. I did see someone has posted the list of stores in Iowa that have snus. Most of them will have a small range of Thunder and Jaks, i think just the wintergreen for jaks and Thunder frosted.
I did put the people at C&C in Ankeny in touch with Rick. They are in the process of getting some other brands in, not sure how long it'll be or just what brands they will get yet. Last time i was in there they had just got the info pack and asked me what brands i liked. I told her pretty much anything in the Thunder or Jaks range would be good.

Oh the horror....

Is it illegal to ship to Iowa? Is there a state law that effects nasal snuff or Snus. It was complete and utter surprise when they banned smoking in almost everywhere but in your own house. I thought Iowa was a committed tobacco state and was proud to be a citizen. I'm really happy with my rediscovery of nasal snuff and would love to keep snuffing the European snuff.

Yeah, I'm from Iowa. I have had 2 shipments of SNUFF sent to me from UK. Homeland security has to scan EVERY SINGLE PACKAGE so there can be some delay.

It's not illegal to ship to Iowa, Lil' Brown will ship snus to Iowa. The recipient is responsible for paying the tobacco tax, no different than before PACT except it now must be shipped UPS and the package has to be signed for.

It's Northerner/ GetSnus that won't ship to Iowa because they insist on collecting the tobacco tax for each state and Iowa doesn't have any provision for a mail-order company to be licensed to collect the tax.

I don't know if Buy Snus ships to Iowa or not, but since they don't collect the tax, they may.
