    Northerner Delays

    If you are experiencing a delay in your Northerner order it's because of the EU "ban" and they are pretty swamped. Just got this ticket back.


    "We are sorry about the delay. Due to the new regulations in EU our US warehouse have been swamped with orders, and since we didn't see this ban coming we could unfortunately not prepare for it. They are doing the best they can to get orders out, and yours should be shipped out as soon as possible." -Emma

    So no worries....it's coming!

    Yeah got that the other day as well, granted I got the notice only after issuing a second ticket asking about the problem. Got my quantum view notification a few hours ago.

      I was wondering why so much of my snus is "pending" "out of stock" and not shipping out. But then again I'm confused, because almost all of my order is SM products, and I thought the EU couldn't have SM products from anywhere even the U.S.?

      At least they're shipping out the Grov & Jak Mint. Should tide me over until the rest of my order can ship out.

        The problem I'm having is that everything I order is in stock at order time...
        then the order shows as 'pending' with three out-of-stocks... 2 of them are in
        stock the next day or so and then held up even further for the 3rd OOS!

        I've contacted the Helpdesk to cancel the lone OOS but so far no response.
        There's always a chance another one will become OOS and the cycle goes on!!

        I've always considered Getsnus as my primary source of snus but now it's
        reached the point where I'm probably going to use GS when I'm in need
        of their Northerner exclusives --- or find something to replace them with.

          snus did you check the box "don't break up my order?"

          They seemed to be okay with sending me the part of my order that was in stock while I wait for the OOS snus to come in.

            The problem for me is that I get delivery from a UPS Store that charges me $3
            per delivery... 3 shipments would thus cost me an extra $9. Plus the added
            mileage for each trip.

            Usually I've had no problems and get delivery within 2 days. My worry now is
            the ever-changing OOS situation... they seem unable to put orders aside and
            simply add the OOSs as they come in.

                  My order went out today and I have a tracking number. Although delays suck, Northerner usually works things out in the end and hopefully the bright side of this ban will be one big bad Northerner. Hopefully, so big and bad that the Swedish snus companies will no longer be able to ignore the US market and will be lining up to register with the FDA.

                    Get it out to the tobacco shops id say .. rather be able to pick up a few cans around town .. if that's at all possible ... quit stocking the general fridges with just basics throw a couple cans of random los and other Swedish match products. both cans i bought today were imported by northerner on bottom.

                          So I'm assuming your orders say 'pending' for many days because my order was shipped accordingly but it's been over two weeks, which is usually the longest I have to wait for my orders.

                          At this point a delayed order would be the most optomistic possibilty. . .

                            I hear you! I hit the 2 week mark yesterday. Northerner gave me a UPS tracking number that doesn't work and they are no longer responding to my tickets. I can't think of a reason why I should order from them again.

                              It will be a cold Day in Hell before I order from Northerner. Even If I have to pay 3 times the price somewhere else.
