    I just got a response from Emma and she says both brands have been very delayed from their supplier for so long that they temporarily removed them but will place it back up when they know when they are going to arrive. She did not know when that is anticipated, though.

        Gellivare products have always had iffy availability. They're a TINY maker, and can't operate like the big guys do at all.

            Yeah but they do make great snus. And the way the big guys operate sometimes not being able to could be considered an asset.

              I hit the one month mark yesterday from the time I placed my order and still have not received any snus yet. They are working on it and I have a feeling I will get it eventually but this still sucks!

                Wow...that is ridiculous. I'm looking to order some snus from them soon and I really don't want to, but I can't find anyone else that has some items they stock...

                Anyways let us know how it goes...Wonder if they will be able to rebound from this relatively soon.

                  Eek...I just placed my first order Thursday night the fifth of May. If a month becomes standard I may have to scope out some locations on a few business/personal trips I have scheduled this year.

                  Speaking of which, anyone have any issues with flying with Snus? Specifically carry-on baggage problems etc.?

                    I've flow internationally within Europe (to a country where snus, and any type of tobacco not for smoking is banned), and to Egypt and had no problems whatsoever.

                      yeah, my order is now held for 20 days.

                      By the way, has anyone ever gotten a response from them in 5 hours? I never have.. I think they made the 5h thing up, even before the EU ban..

                        I am trying not to be cynical about this but it is getting difficult as time goes by. In the past, my many experiences with Northerner have all worked out fine and this is the first time I have ever had an order go on for so long. I do feel that Northerner does care about it's customers and is committed to the US market but this still does not justify occasional crappy service. I have a feeling if it wasn't for a little help, my tickets would have been ignored for a long time. Most online stores will not let you order a product unless they are reasonably sure they can fulfill that order. I have even seen some online stores that offer to notify you by email as soon as the product is back in stock so that you can place your order. My thinking is that if Northerner is not able to send out an order in say 3-5 working days, they should offer a full refund and perhaps a coupon code to use on a future purchase. Another idea, is to have an on time guarantee and perhaps offer something like 5 free tins of snus for every week over 2 that you have not received your order. I only have so much money to spend on snus and if you can't fulfill my order, at least tell me so I can go somewhere else, at least temporarily. Now the other thing I miss is Fredrik. He was with us on this forum and worked hard to resolve every issue even if they were minor. He also came up with exciting ideas like snusbargain.com that saved us money and made buying snus fun again. So yes, normally my experiences with Northerner have been positive and I am grateful they are committed to the US market but please get your act together soon. Having said that, please do not be afraid to order from Northerner as we really want to keep a store with a presence in the USA in business. I also hope that the new snuson store, with the help of Northerner, will become a mutually beneficial way to shop for the snuson website and it's members. Having said that, I do want to say thanks to the terrific members of this forum. Several of them have offered to send me some snus to hold me over until my order arrives. I am fine and still have my pre PACT stash but the generosity and concern that snus on members have for each other is truly special. You would be very hard pressed to try and find this type of relationship in any other forum. We are a very unique forum in that snuson feels like home and family with the occasional black sheep - LOL!

                          I am amazed at how many problems I had with Northerner with my last order. Between them screwing up my bank account, random unverified bank charges, leaving me in the dark about an out of stock item holding up more than half of my order for a month a half, denying that they had anything to do with my transaction(bank) issues and blaming my bank. My bank offered to call them on three way with me but there is no posted phone number. When my order finally shipped after a month and a half they "accidentally?" sent my order south to another state rather than north. Instead of receiving my order in three days from the shipment date I received it a week late after waiting for all most two months already. That is when I had enough and sent them a message asking for a phone number because I get no where with the help tickets. They in turn offered me bonus points and did not mention the phone number at all. Since that was all I was going to get out of the situation after everything I have been through I said yes of course. I received a response telling me that I have been given bonus points but the thing is, there arent anymore bonus points there than I already had. It has been a week, I don't know if there was an error or it didnt post but back to the help ticket crap again tomorrow.

                            I think there are two things that would really help northerner. One is the obvious, better assistance to the customers in taking care of issues. Number two is a real time inventory. This is a guess, but it seems that the inventory numbers do not get adjusted until they ship out an order, why not make it adjust as soon as a customer makes the order? It seems like a minor tweak, but it would minimize instances where a customer makes an order and they run out of stock before they can fulfill that order.

                            I was fortunate with my last order that they got a shipment in the next business day, but I have seen it happen too many times where their shipment is delayed leaving their customers not knowing when their order will be fulfilled. To me if they made this little tweak it would GREATLY cut back on customer issues. I understand that they can't really split shipments like they used too, it would cost too much. But we need to be reasonably sure that when an item is shown as in stock, that it IS in stock when they go to ship the order. Still things will happen where their inventory isn't accurate on occasion, but if it only happened occasionally, it may be easier for them to be able to afford to split a shipment or offer another solution to the customer. Just my two cents.

                              While I feel this situation is unfortunate for all parties involved and I hope they get their act together soon, when I read that I could not help but laugh my ass off.

                              It seems like this is a reoccurring problem they have, depending on when you order they either ship it with no problems or completely miss the mark. Seems to have been going on for some time now as well, even when Fredrik was around.

                                Hey Guys,

                                I just ordered Snus for the first time on Wednesday from the Swedish warehouse. It is being shipped to Canada. Does any of this thread effect me as well? I get the impression that it only effects those in the US as well as those in the EU. I don't know a whole lot about PACT in this case.

                                I sure as hell hope it's not delayed because I just quit smoking a week ago and I only have three cans of Camel Snus that I bought on a recent trip to the US. Its a little too sweet for me but its getting me through cigarette cravings with incredible ease. It actually pisses me off that its been so easy to quit because if I had access to Snus in Canada, I likely would have quit years ago.

                                I've never had Swedish Snus but from what I've gathered from lurking here the past week... is that I should find a few that I like out of the 20 different cans that I ordered. Feel like a child waiting for Christmas day / Delivery day.
