Northerner Delays

Hey guys, first time posting

Ironically finding this forum searching for info on this very topic.

I basically have 2 orders (one 22 days old, one 10 days old - places it because all the stuff was "in stock" so I thought it would be sent as normal) that are still pending at the warehouse - Im not mad at northerner for having issues, I am sure they wouldnt have chosen for any of this shitty business situation for them and us.

But my question is, can I legitimately cancel my orders and order them somewhere else that will just ship them straight away as normal? If so where is the best place to order to the UK? Northerner were always amazing and I never looked beyond - but I cant wait much more for my snus - over 3 weeks without any is already pretty tough . Is it just everyone ****ed by this? Or countries such as norway/US are exempt from the ban?

TL;DR: - 1) Can I cancel my order if I payed but they didnt ship it in 3 weeks, 2) Where is a good alternative, or everyone is as ****ed as Northerner?

If you live in the EU you can only get snus from Northerner or OdensSnus.com

Actually - this raises a very important point.

If Northerner gets our snus out on time, it's a two week delivery time for it to reach us in the EU - which is fine.
If shipment is delayed it adds up to a huge waiting time - which has us on the edges of our seats.

We in the EU are basically at your mercy. I hope you can sort the problems out Northerner and put this permanently to bed.

If shipment is delayed it adds up to a huge waiting time - which has us on the edges of our seats.

Most of my northerner order was odens anyway!

Never tried Odens. I love pure tobacco taste. Wish there was a place to get a couple cans cheap.

Something else. As many of you know, it is difficult for the Feds to "enforce" something like the PACT act, especially at the state level.

Ya'll need to head over to PP's Blue Barrel Tobacco Emproium..................where the squeals and deals are real.

And I absolutely agree Extreme is one of the best snus brands I have tried to date...............and I don't normally do starks

However with the Extreme the cut and the flavor are just right so a smaller pris holds its own.

I chain snus and I am just about to finish up a can (5 days into it using it exclusively).

I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to upset anyone. Does anyone remember how it use to be before all tobacco regulations in Europe and the US? I'm just so *>'-_* frustrated about all these political issues. For EU it's easy to target on a small niche product when the big blue "pharmacutical companies are clapping their hands. First Pact Act, then more regulations waiting on the horizon, Swedish customs storming a collegue's office and now they are facing the judge - for selling something less harmful in EU?

Bigblue you are absolutely right - taking care of of our customers is our priority number one. We are working on improving our customer support for sure. One question, would you prefer a 800 number to call?

Been reading the thread for awhile now, and it seems that all the talk is simply of how the taxes effect everything. The problem I have with northerner is the fact that their baseline prices (w/o taxes included) is so much more compared to other online suppliers. On top of that, you add tax, and it gets even worse. Yes, we are supposed to pay taxes with these other online retailers that we purchase snus from, however, even so we would come out ahead ordering from other retailers.

I can understand the reasons behind the price difference, and that is to be expected given the circumstances. However, it all boils down to how much you want to pay for the exact same product. Even so, ordering online from other retailers generally fetches fresher snus, or at least that has been my experience.

An example of this could be seen with the price of 1 can of Ettan portions. $4.50 @ northerner, $3.36 @ SC, both before taxes are added. Tax for me in Indiana at Northerner says $0.50/can. Lets assume we pay the taxes on each can, so we can simply negate it from the price. We will also assume this will be on a larger order, so we can simply negate shipping from the equation as well, for simlicity. The price difference is slightly over 30%. You are getting the exact same product and both shops are compliant with PACT (assuming you pay your taxes). If you go to store A and see a fleshlight for $50, then go to store B and see the exact same fleshlight for $65, which would you buy?

Regardless of how I come off, I do appreciate what Northerner is doing. However, I probably won't be buying from them anytime soon, unless I need something they have, with their rates, regardless of who/what is to blame for the rates they charge, simply because in the end, I am paying more for the same product I could get cheaper elsewhere.
