The total price of the roll INCLUDING tax is $47.90

They are showing the tax on the roll is $28.30

They are adding them both together which is incorrect.

For comparison, my order last month in which I ordered 5 rolls was only 6 bucks for "extra" tax.

I have to recant my agreement with you being overcharged. I'm coming up with $47.90 for a roll of Onyx, and Mass has a tax of 90% wholesale value. Add the shipping to that,, and your numbers look bad, but about right.

$47.90 is not before tax. Onyx is expensive. I just did a mock order. I live in Washington State, where tobacco tax is $36. My total came to $98.55. It sucks dude, but that's the reality and has been for a year now since PACT. Order from another vendor to pay the tax later...

Wat for it! It's coming! Some will say because they want to support a US based retailer and others will throw the doomsday scenario that coming very soon they will be the only game in town because the other retailers are skirting the pact act rules and won't get away with it much longer, While other will claim they want to pay their State Tax and not risk getting hit later and so on ... Blah Blah Blah....

It has always confussed me as to why anybody in the US would order from Northerner these days.... It ain't the old days anymore...

My opinion: The only reason Northerner will ever be the only game in town will be because Northerner is crying wolf ratting out the other Retailers...

My order last month from Northerner was for 3 rolls and change and my total cost was maybe $10 bucks more than what they want to charge me for a single roll of Onyx. Something is borked.
