Man...I could get used to this convenience

So i am in Cincinnati visiting family and checked out the Speedway three blocks away which Generalsnus.com said carried the limited General mini-fridge lineup. Lo and behold there it was, the clerk actually knew what I was asking about, and he even checked the date to make sure it was fresh (don't know if this is standard procedure, something they are told to do, or they have gotten burned before).

I just bought a single can of General Wintergreen (yeah yeah go ahead and boo) and after automatic discount of a dollar it came to $3.40 with tax. Damn, $3.40 with tax is cheap. Albeit they only have the limited lineup but for those that have seen the fridge (at least this one) has multiple rows of Mints, Wintergreen, OP, and WP. If they switched out one row of each for a few rows containing Ettans, Grovsnus, Goteborgs, 0102, or N&J Strong (one of my new likes) I would be spoiled and may not need to buy online again.

Convenience is worth more than I thought....

I have a post office about 1/2 mile away. I'd like to have a random politician standing by the road at the 1/4 mile mark so I could kick him in the balls while going to pick up the snus I mail ordered. I'd pay good money for that kind of convenience.

The sad thing is a tobacco shop chain in Cincy also are listed and I plan to visit those too while in town since the Tinder Box shop chain back home (30 minutes from home to be specific) carries Ettans also so crossing fingers the one in Cincy does as well....

I know, I know. It was more for the sake of due diligence for the 100 snus blog since my only experience was with a couple portions from a trial pack. It really isn't THAT bad and is OK in a pinch when I need something on the sweet side. And I have tried Jak's Wintergreen and I like the profile and nic hit MUCH better. But then again, at this point if I was living in Cincy I could walk down to the Speedway and get the General Wintergreen immediately and for way cheaper than Jak's online...that is until the ever hard working Rick has a chance to blanket the rest of the US...

Well, being able to use USPS was part of the convenience I wanted to pay for. Regardless of cost, I prefer USPS.

$3.40!? That's great, My local pretentious Cuban cigar shop in Tourist town, Miami charges like $6.50. Factoring in FL State taxes though, I think you still may have won!

                  General Wintergreen FTW!!!!

I live in Ohio and love having the convenience of having General snus widely available. The only problem: all of the Speedways in my area have expired snus. Every time I buy a can now, the snus is expired by more than a month -- I now order exclusively online. I'd like to buy locally, but having expired products is unacceptable.

I sometimes buy a can of general or thunder frosted locally, at Tinderbox. It's 5.50 a can and I haven't got an expired one yet. It definitely helps me fill in my ordering gaps.

The shop I go to had neglected to check, but their General loose was expired. Sucks, because I've never done loose and wanted to try it. I actually walked out of the shop, checked my dates, and walked right back in to tell the clerk it was expired. He apologized and offered another can in exchange, which I was cool with me, but No loose until I order it I guess.

This humble postal carrier THANKS YOU from the bottom of his disgruntled heart...
