    Money back guarantee?

Here is a quote I took from getsnus . com

"We offer a moneyback guarantee if the goods or sevice purchased from us are not satisfactory."

I told them (after spending well over $100 for only 16 cans of snus) that I was only satisfied with about 3 brands and asked if on my next order they would kick me a couple cans. They said no. Even though I've waited almost 2 weeks already for one that was "in stock" that they still claim is out of stock AFTER I ORDERED. Seems like they could have done a little better for me seeing as how that along with the misleading statement of "money back guarantee".

I could be wrong but from the sound of your post "I was only satisfied with about 3 brands" it seems to me you confusing the term not satisfactory, with the thought of "I don't like this snus".

I think it would be considered above and beyond for any company to guarantee you like every snus made. What I get when I read their guarantee is a thought that if I get a dried up snus, or something out of date, or it is damaged in shipping I will get compensation.

I could be wrong, but that's just how I read your post. Maybe you are saying you got expired/ruined snus, and in that case you should write the company your specific complaint with the product and not that you were not satisfied with something non-specific.

Satisfactory means something you were satisfied with right? Maybe they should just re word it. But still a good run business would want to keep their customers happy with all the competition and at least throw me a couple free cans seeing as how i over paid so much for the snus. ya know?

Yeah, I think they would interpret that as the snus wasn't fresh, or the can was broken and snus spilled out, or something like that.
Otherwise everyone would be trying to get free shit.
Trust me, I run a restaurant, I see people bring food back all the time they ate 99% of and say "I didn't like it", and we're like "Yeah....after you ate it all?"

That's how I would read it as well.. Maybe if the cans were damaged or something they would hook you up.. It sucks I know but that just part of trying out new stuff..

" Satisfactory means something you were satisfied with right? "

Only if you're dealing with hookers and good luck getting a refund.

You are right though, they should reword it. Not sure if getsnus is run by anyone completely versed in the nuances of English.

Oh hell. We all know that it means if the snus is not fresh, or a bad batch or whatever. The suppliers are not responsible for tins broken in shipping or if you don't like the particular flavor. However, most suppliers will replace broken tins and such. But if you simply don't like the flavor thats not their problem.

The op has been given the chance and still hasn't explained what the problem is. Untill he explains I think its not worthy of any further discussion.

It sounds like the shipment arrived of but hes not thrilled with the flavors and wants them to give him more on the house. Thats not the suppliers problem.

              just sayin
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Yes he did...he said he didn't like them, lol. I'm just gonna say something here, New York, you've done nothing but bitch about snus since you've been on the site. You complained of flavors, styles and now wording of a return policy that won't allow you to return product for a refund....because you simply didn't enjoy the taste. Honestly that's laughable.

It seems to me that snus isn't your thing....hey, dip isn't that harmful and you already love the taste of it don't you? I'm sure UST misses your business ;-)

I've noticed the same thing. Usually even the most hardcore of dip customers that I've swayed over to snus have found enjoyment in it almost right off the bat, however you seem to not enjoy the flavors or cuts of snus - and let's face it, snus is traditional and it is what it is my friend. If you're not finding enjoyment in it, maybe dip is your thing, who knows.

@ Rick.....he simply said he wasn't satisified. That could me a few different things. i was giving him the benefit of the doubt tho and figured that there must be something else wrong with the snus. No person in their right mind would ask for different snus just because they didn't like the flavors.

yea, I noticed the past complaining also. apparently our assumptions are correct.

I know there has been alot of snus I didn't like and wish I could have returned it because I wasn't satisfied and gotten free shit...

On the other hand I have never brought back food that i ate 99% of or any % of and say "I didn't like it" nor satisfied, But thanks for the idea Chad.... Now where do you work?

I have to go now and make some popcorn... Hope i'm satisfied with the taste or I'm taking it back after I eat 99% of it of course

I think it's a given that they don't replace if you just simply don't like it - to say otherwise is to be a bit disingenuous.

Agreed that you shouldn't expect getsnus to compensate you because you didn't like all of the varieties you purchased.

Other sites however do include a better description on their "Shipping and Returns" pages:

                            premuimsnus.com
As Swedish snus is a perishable item we cannot accept "change of mind" returns.

                            northerner.com
We do not accept returns due to that we sell tobacco and food products which can't be resold. If we have done a mistake we guarantee to solve this, either by sending out a replacement or refund the order.

Also you can't hold it against NewYork for complaining - he's a New Yorker after all. AND he said he kind of likes Ettan!
