I told them (after spending well over $100 for only 16 cans of snus) that I was only satisfied with about 3 brands and asked if on my next order they would kick me a couple cans. They said no. Even though I've waited almost 2 weeks already for one that was "in stock" that they still claim is out of stock AFTER I ORDERED. Seems like they could have done a little better for me seeing as how that along with the misleading statement of "money back guarantee".
Did you actually ask for your money back or just ask for some freebies?

Plenty of online stores for other products have "no questions asked" money back guarantees, but you are expected to get an RMA number and ship the return at your own expense. I would expect them to honor the stated guarantee on those conditions, but I wouldn't be shocked if they asked me to take my business elsewhere next time if I made them lose a bunch of money just because I didn't like the flavor.

If you read the board here I think that you will find that both of the companies that are behind the online Snus webstores have a pretty good track record when it comes to handling problems like busted cans, mis-ships, and lost packages.

        This thread is funny.
You definitely are not going to get a refund if you just "didn't like the flavor".
That's like buying a food or beverage product from your local store and coming back the next day with a empty or half empty container saying "I didn't like it, I want a refund or free stuff". It just doesn't work that way in perishable, consumable items.
If it was am electronic device or something and you weren't happy, that's a different story.

This is why I don't post any "money back guarantees" on our site, even though we're more than willing to work with someone if there's a problem. There's always those one or two fringe guys that are just waiting to say "I didn't like the satirical tone of your magazine. Give me my money back." Reminds me of when I went to see Hostel II at the theater and there was this woman with two little kids demanding that the ticket girl refund her money because she didn't know the movie was going to be so violent.

Although, the notion of a company reimbursing me for every can of snus I've ever bought that I didn't like is pretty funny in and of itself. I reckon that Buysnus, Snuscentral and Northerner owe me about a thousand bucks apiece for all the shitty brands I've tried over the last five years. (Keep an eye out for my invoice, Rick!)

Hell, I'll be generous about it too. For all the cans that I bought that I only sort of liked, I'll just demand that you refund half of the purchase price.

You complained of flavors, styles and now wording of a return policy that won't allow you to return product for a refund....because you simply didn't enjoy the taste. Honestly that's laughable.

It seems to me that snus isn't your thing....hey, dip isn't that harmful and you already love the taste of it don't you? I'm sure UST misses your business ;-)
                    Absolutely Rick..

                    New York,

What I suggest to you is order a few rolls or Probe. Put on a Barbara Streisand record on or whatever you New Yorkers do, and relax. I've never heard of anyone trying to return snus because they didn't like the taste. This should of been posted in the jokes thread honestly. What a normal person would of done is put it on the exchange for other folks who may enjoy those brands/flavors. I do have a can of the Offroad wintergreen long cut I was thinking about sending you, nothing in return. Alot of folks here helped me greatly when I first started with snus and I pay it forward when I can. I definetely changed my mind. I'd rather send tampons to Cherrysnoop..

You can all talk the shit you want. Go ahead and be a bunch of suckers and give your money to these companies that prey on people like you to over spend on products that don't cost shit for the company to buy or send. When a company jumps up that offers better customer service all those other companies will go under. As a consumer I will SPEAK MY MIND. Here in america we have what is called freedom of speech and freedom of press. If you don't like it go live in ****ing swedin. I may be the only one saying "hey this is bullshit" but that is where change comes from. I am not one to lye on my back and say "well, thats just how it is I'll just deal with it". If people are constantly bringing the food back in your restaurant saying it sucked, well then it probably SUCKED. Maybe they were just hungry and said screw it i'm gonna eat it anyway for now. I'm not going to tell you how to run your business but there are certain things you will learn that will make a difference of having a business for 10 years or having one for 50 years with many locations. Snus is being marketed towards Americans. It's not going to do very well at all untill some things change. So go buy your vacuum cleaner that breaks in 2 months just to pay for it again. I will make sure I get mine at no cost, seeing as I already paid for it once.

Your snus wasn't a vacuum cleaner that was broken. It was not broken - it was how snus is. There was nothing wrong with it objectively but just in your own subjective viewpoint. I'm all for consumer rights but i'm not for taking the pi$$. You didn't like snus having tried it - oh well, move on... get back on the cigarettes. Get over it. It's the compensation culture and actions like this that push the prices of snus, insurance premiums, etc up for everyone else.
