i know the feeling! Lucky strike bold is a nice snus i think - not much different to skruf stark. what's skrufs reasoning for the ban?

LS Bold is pretty good snus. I've been using it this week after a month of Skruf Sterk. The Skruf is MUCH better.

I think their reasoning will be the same as Swedish Match - keep their noses clean until the EU situation is resolved. Seems to be that the brands/manufacturers who have the biggest market share in Sweden are those pulling out of selling elsewhere. Wouldn't surprise me if SM put pressure on Imperial (groundless speculation on my part, obv)

The Skruf is MUCH better.

I don't see this so i'd moot this point. I do Skruf for the effects it gives me not for the taste - and the Lucky Bold pretty much of a muchness gives me the same effects.

Oh well - I ordered a few new brands with my last order to find replacements for General Extra Sterk Portions and Ettan Lös.

Who would have thought that Skruf-substitutes are also due?

So far, Odens Extreme Portions appear to be a great replacement for General Extra Sterk Portions. The taste is not exactly the same but very near. Both snuses are of the same traditional kind.

The following weeks will show if Skruf (Extra) Stark and Ettan can be substituted.

It's not the end of the world but it's not funny either. I hope the smaller producers don't follow SM's and Skruf's example sooner or later, and I hope that - unlike SM - Skruf will provide some kind of explanation.

It's probably just 'big names' 'protecting' themselves. I wonder too whether SM leant on them as they distribute their snus (if you notice their snus has an SM SKU)

Be interesting if chainsnuser is able to recommend a replacement.

I love the rose oil too but i don't love it that much that i will order it all the way from the US... time for a change i guess... i think the Lucky Bolds have quite a poke to them. Let's face it yes the rose oil was nice but they didn't taste out of this world.
