ordering snus is officially too ****ing expensive
Even after the pact act, I was able to find snus at ~3$/tin, primarily by placing large orders at Premiumsnus and other sites during special promotions. Unfortunately, with the price hike at premiumsnus, I can no longer justify ordering snus online outside of perhaps b&m stores in the U.S. which will ultimately result in my use of only general products from now on. This is a sad day, but a day that I knew would come eventually. I suspect I will miss my after meal starks the most following the $15 rolls of phantom blue I had grown accustomed to.

Yea, it sucks. Keep your eye on the different web shops, and you may score some free postage deals to get the price down. You can then stock up until the next deal.

It seems the price is not so inflated in the cost of tobacco, a roll of Catch eucalyptus lists for 31.08 this month at SC, but the shipping and tax increases are what has made the snus shopping not as wallet friendly.

I'll agree, too damn expensive. At least I've got snuff to hold me over until I can place my next big order. I really want to refill my fridge again, so I can stop this "Buy a can Saturday, stretch it out until Wednesday and hope Thursday and Friday are stress free." routine I've been in. That, and the B&M doesn't get me my much beloved Odens ES Lakrits portions, nor my Ettan lös. Extreme is nice, but Lakrits is bliss. Probably put in an order for three rolls of that once I've got the money.Comment

Well a few months ago I got 7 rolls most of it premium for like $225..... that's $3.21 a can shipped and having a huge variety available rather than 3-4 general offerings. not sure I could replicate that today but pretty sure I could get pretty close especially if I went towards economy snus. I will order snus till I can't anymore,,,, I love the variety and knowing for the most part it is factory fresh and hasn't been sitting around for awhile..... Careful what you wish for people........ just did a mock order and the same order costs $254 still only $3.63 a can a lot better deal than the $5 a can local snus is going for with a lot more options........ Just saying......Comment

Today, it is costs prohibitive to make small "try me" orders.....which in turn makes the market more sluggish (less folks trying fewer new things)
Thus while the USA is saving the children and all that……..the Swedish government has shown itself to be very provincial and shortsighted IMO………their tax increases have contributed a great deal to hindering snus’ affordable expansion into international markets and thus have restricted their potential tax base…..In other words, by charging more they are earning less……………which is a foolish use of their resources.
