I'm from Brazil and there's another friend of mine here (who I met in the forums) who also use snus here in Brazil.

We would love to have Snus locally. Is that your idea?

Snus would be a great solution for our cigarrete issues down here. However, there's little to none publicity on that here!

I am the other Brazilian guy around here and yes we will love to have snus available locally but as Gustavo said theres no publicity about it and any kind of oral tobacco is extremely rare. I know there are some dippers in some parts of the country but Gustavo is the only other Snus user that i know!

In the past was easy to buy it online, until I got a bad news on my last order... The "FDA like" here decided to forbid this kind of product for online transactions. Since then I only can have it when travelling where it's available.


I wondering if some day I could buy it in the very same places they sell cigarette.

So now we're 3 here Glad you posted.

Can you tell us what's going on with our "FDA" here? I haven't heard anything regarding that matter. As far as I know, they did not even know someone used snus here in Brazil. What was the bad news on your last order?

I haven't ordered anything for the past couple of months since I had a good stock here, so your post scared the sh*** outta me Can't live without snus anymore!

At June 2010 I ordered 1 pack of 10 Goteborg White Portion can via UPS at snusbutiken, and as usual, it's went through (Vigilancia Sanitária), but that time they didn't release it. The UPS guy tells me that I needed a specialist (Despachante Aduaneiro) to release my goods, but I just discard this option because of costs and it was not 100% sure of results.


After a while (same 2010) I tryed another 10 can order (you know how bad is live whitout snus), but I got the same results, stucked at ANVISA.


Don’t tell me you can buy nowadays without any problem?! It would make my day!

Need Snus in Brazil!!

Hi, I know this thread is super old, but I'm just wondering if anybody recently had any luck with getting a parcel of snus through to Brazil? I've ordered a few cans just as a trial, but as it's been almost 1 month now, I'm feeling like the order has been compromised again by customs here....I ordered with snusline, it was my first time with them, I even emailed them and asked about shipping to Brazil...Anyway, If anybody is still reading this and has any helpful advice it would be appreciated! I'm looking into making my own snus I'm getting that desperate!

The only thing I can think is to have it sent to a second party in the USA (a friend or family member) and then have them send it regulag post. That's all I can think of. Maybe some will have something better.

Keep us posted on anything you figure out. It may help others in the future who are facing the same thing
