I was going to order that, but the tax on it is more than the cost of the 10 cans themselves! $19.62! That's rape and why they price it so cheap... so they can make the money back on the tax.

Also, it seems like their ordering system is broken right now...

How does Northerner make their money back on tax? It's good old Cape Cod raping you not Northerner.

Luckily I live in Illinois. Tax on a 70 dollar order is about 4 bucks and shipping is usually around 14. Also tax isn't included in the public price for a reason, it goes to the government not the company, they dont make any profit on tax otherwise it would be called the price

This kind of sucks because I placed an order with Northerner on 11/25/2011 that was sent out today but this is also an offer too good to pass up. I might need to look under the sofa cushions on this one but I definitely want to place another order.

The money they charge for tax on their website doesn't go directly to the state, they get it first and then pay the taxes to the government with it. I'm sure some of that money is left over when it's all said and done. My state has nothing to do with it costing $19 for 10 cans. The tax on a roll of oden's original is $7 also through northerner, why is it almost triple that for a random assortment of 10 cans that supposedly costs $10 less? It just doesn't add up and it's not all that great of a deal (at least for me, I'm not sure what the taxes are on that item for others), that's all I'm saying.

Eh? I'm seeing a $2 discrepancy. $7 for 10 tins vs $9 for 10 tins. Not sure why that is, but it's in the ballpark, and not a deal breaker imo.
