No word on how Ettan will be packaged and sold in the US, but the nationwide General offering will be of the "coffin tin" variety. He was also reportedly "very impressed" to see a tin of Ettan OP in her arsenal (my evil doing!) She was given a coffin tin of General Classic Blend to sample. Only 10 portions -- didn't these hold 15 at some point?

    Stay tuned, until the spring!
General has launched in three test markets. Success in three markets won't warrant a nation-wide launch. It may mean that more markets are added, but it will be a while before we see a nation wide launch of Ettan or the new General US products. I think her rep may have been a bit overzealous with the facts.

Not to be a buzzkill, sorry!
Just being realistic. I think it'll expand slowly - but it'll take more time than going from 3 markets to nationwide.

I can get general OP, Mint, White, and Wintergreen here in kalispell, montana. it just the same as if i ordered it off the net... only thing is... its not popular, so its not always fresh. also its not one of my favorites. i wish they sold General onyx, or some stark or something for crying in the beer. im chain snusin on this weak sauce crap! or ettan, yes that would be awesome.

COME ON AMERICA GET WITH THE PROGRAM

im gonna focus efforts on getting good snus into America, even if it harelips the governor!

That's pretty cool. I can get the General line at Speedway stations in most parts of Ohio. I don't like General regularly, but it's great that I can grab a can or two when I feel like it. But if I can start getting Ettan that way, I'll be one happy little boy.

Two rolls of Thunder Long Portions...around 50 bucks...tack on 20-30 for shipping FROM Sweden.

Three cans of General Wintergreen...20 dollars. At my local tobacco store.

While I'd love to see cold cases stacked with Swedish Snus, like pictured above, I'd never be able to afford it. It's just one more thing that politicians can demonize and tax to hell.
