    Damage to Buysnus.com orders

I just received a $130 order of 3 rolls from Buysnus.com. It seems that every time I order from them I find damage to snus cans. Now, I realize that they have improved the packaging recently to combat this. Before I would just get snus in a plastic UPS bag, and now they are putting it in a bubble wrap envelope prior to putting it in the shipping bag. In this order I had a roll of Oden's Extreme 59 los, Offroad Frosted los, and GES los. Two of the GES los cans (the only cardboard cans in the order) had enough damage to break the seal. I am not one to complain to the company about something like this as the issue is clearly with the way UPS handles the packages but I am curious about others' experiences with their deliveries. Are you getting damaged snus from Buysnus?

If there are enough bad experiences perhaps we can band together to get Buysnus to further improve their packaging, i.e. boxes.

I haven't ordered snus in forever, but it's a long standing problem. I expect it's worse with UPS handling the packages. They're the worst shippers ever. I don't know why they don't use boxes. I could understand it more back in the mail days. It was probably significantly cheaper using envelopes. Now that it's UPS, I don't see a reason to use envelopes, and to really protect stuff from UPS, Pelican cases are in order.

At least if stuff is really messed up, they'll make it right. They always did for me, and I've never heard otherwise.

I did complain once in the past when I ordered one roll and 4 of the cans were messed up. They made it right my me right away. I'm not complaining about Buysnus per se, but if they want to save money in the long run they would be well advised to improve the packaging.

I agree. I'd guess 40% of my packages were messed up. Most of the time I didn't lose snus, but it was close. That's just me. I'm sure tons of snus has been lost through all the people they ship to. I'd gladly pay a bit more for a box. It was always kind of stressful wondering if my snus would make the voyage intact.

All of my orders over the past few years, with the exception of those made during they heyday of Getsnus before they sold it, have been from buysnus and I have never encountered that problem. Maybe they just get to my door too fast for anything bad to happen

I am trying to remember when the last snus tragedy happened to me..........it's been a while.

I agree with Lx and Lincoln...........I think it would pay off in the long run to improve their packaging a bit. However, we don't need any more shipping price hikes as a result.

We are already getting nickeled and dimed to death (what with smaller amounts and prices that keep edging up every time you turn around)

Hmmm... It seems there isn't as much outrage about damaged orders as I thought there would be. lx is about right with the 40% number. Luckily its just typically damage to cardboard tins. I've only had one plastic tin break open and spill los all over the bag.

I think there would be more outrage........... except:

                1) Most venders do a great job on making things right

                and

                2) it was your snus not ours

I usually order 3 rolls at a time as well and there is always some busted General Los cardboard cans.

Slightly off topic but I just got an order from them today (40 tins) and only received 10 of them...what's my play? I contacted customer service but heard nothing back.
