Just ordered Pioneer from Northerner US ... again

Just let's see what happens this time - ordered 3 cans of Pioneer.

The last order never materialised. Despite Rick promising to put a good word in for me - nothing happened from Northerner's end.

I've tried again - I really want to taste this stuff - I'm a completist!

    I'll keep you posted.

John...I did "put in a good word" for you, but shipping to the EU is problematic and while I don't know the particulars of what happened on your order. I did bring it to the attention of someone in Sweden who can fix it and that's all I can do...since I don't have anything to do with the online stuff.

Hopefully this time, UK customs won't nab your shipment brother ;-)

Rick - thank you for your intervention last time. I don't doubt that you did all you could. I am aware that you have a strong presence here and that your job doesn't seem to be in the slightest bit connected with Northerner's web operation and it's lovely that you come on here to bat their corner as a company.

However - if it's completely outside your remit, could I respectfully suggest that you don't come on and give people false hope that Northerner is sorting things out if that is not possible. I've seen a few heated exchanges here with you and I don't see why it is necessary for you to try and get involved in the web shop stuff if you have no sway with the people who run that bit.

Just my take on the whole northerner thing (which is very confusing for a customer)

I too hope that UK customs don't nab it either, thanks for the concern.

John...I doubt that the MANY, MANY people that I've helped on here would say that I gave them false hope....you're situation is and was specific to UK deliveries. Which are by nature, problematic...as you know. I will continue to help where I can ;-)

I agree......................I know john is frustrated and who wouldn't be.................but 9 times out of 10 Rick is able to get it sorted out even though it is not his department..................and for that we are all grateful

And I think the last couple of weeks has shown us why this was such a problem.......It wasn't just John's order but the entire EU..................along with the USA supply.............and who knows what else........My guess is that any other time and John would already have his Pioneer.

Anyway.................John I hope you are able to get your snus...................if anyone deserves it ...........man it is you..........you have been through it and handled it with more grace and patience than I would have

And Rick………..thanks bro……………….even when it doesn’t work……………..thanks for at least trying.
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Rick's in a tough spot here. He was a member before he was a Northerner(er? :^D ) It makes it difficult being a member when you're Northerner's lightning rod. While he's better positioned to help, it really isn't by much. I've had the same issues with my standing as moderator. I try to help people with stuff, but in the end, I'm mostly powerless, and have no control on the outcome. Once you get past banning, or moving a thread somewhere, there isn't much I can do outside of getting word out. Rick is the same way. Once you get past talking to shop owners, and trying to sell them snus, he can only put in the word on your behalf.

That doesn't absolve Northerner of responsibility, but Rick should be given a break. I'd REALLY like to see Northerner step up their game, both for their sake, and for mine.

              Amen.

Rick has absolutely nothing to do with the online side of stuff, so the best he can do is make an inquiry or bring a situation to someone else's attention. That's more than a lot of people would be willing to do. It would probably be easier for Rick to just say "I'm sorry, I really don't have anything to do with that part of the operation, but you can talk to so and so and I'm sure they'll take care of you."

BTW Rick, I'm still waiting on those 77 rolls of snus I ordered like almost two years ago. Remember when you said that if it never arrived, you would personally make it up to me by sending me 177 rolls out of your own stash? I'm being as patient as I can be...

Would now be the time to say that I'm of Gypsy blood and the ridiculous Borat fuelled borderline racism on this forum towards my people is wearing thin?

                        I know it's innocent - but seriously ... it's really getting annoying.
