Do you have to order Snus online? From southeast Michigan.

I'm not against ordering online but if I could find a tobacco shop that sold Snus for a reasonable price, I'd prefer to get it at a tobacco shop. Does anyone know of a tobacco shop in southeast Michigan (detroit) that sells snus. Preferably imports like General and Ettan. I tryed to find searches online for it but I'm coming up pretty slim. I'm starting to think I might have to order online...

You may have to drive a little:
Maison Edwards Tobacconist; 11 Nickels Arcade, Ann Arbor, 48104, 734-662-4145

Have you been there before. I know where that is but for some reason I can't picture the place. I live about 45 minutes from there though. Thanks.

There is probably someplace within driving distance for you, but "reasonable price" would be the issue; especially if you go through snus quickly like I do. I pay almost twice as much here if I buy from the shop down the street. All told, you get much lower prices and large variety if you order online, and exp. dates are usually a lot better since snus tends to sit a while at the tobacco shops.

Also, tobacco shops here state-side only carry General varieties (typically Los, Portion, White portion, Maxi portion) and one or two of the catch dry flavors. Ettan is not sold in the US.

Dollar for dollar, your best bet is to just go to buysnus.com or northerner.com and order a roll of each. Even after shipping you'll come out well on top.

I've got the perfect idea for a new snus flavor! Nacho, with cheese and chili... It'll be awesome, I know just who to call ;^)

                      Hello,

I live in Ann Arbor and have bought snus at Maison Edwards several times. From talking to shop owners of several tobacco stores in my area it appears that masion edwards is the only shop in michigan to carry snus (at least for the time being) they sell only general and catch and only in general, loose, original, and wintergreen as well as catch dry peppermint. all cans go for $6.95 each. I buy from them just to support local bussiness, but I buy most of my snus online. (much cheaper and more variety)BTW the generals original as well as the wintergreen are really good, so if you don't want to buy online this is a good shop to go to. Mason Edwars is in downtown an arbor in Nichols Arcade, Nichols Arcade is a little alley that looks very old and is between south state street and manard. Hope this helps.

Plus the old man at Maison is a cool guy. He even offers you a free portion to enjoy in the shop. That is one cool shop just to check out.
