Northerner shipping to Wisconsin

Good question, and I have ask it in the past.
I was told there is some law in WI that does not allow smokeless to be shipped here, but I have never been able to find the actual law.It may be there, i just can't find it and I have been keeping up with WI tobacco laws for the last 3 years. If I remember right Northerner said that when they where registering with WI they where told buying over the internet and shipping to WI was illegal.
Of course WI does have the highest smokeless tobacco tax in the country at 100% of wholesale so the cost starts getting out of hand pretty quick. I have been getting snus from snuscentral but we shall see how long that continues. If the boot comes down on shipping directly from Sweden I'm screwed. I do have a store in town that sells General snus for $7+ a can.
It would be nice if Northerner gave a fuller explanation as to why WI is out of the loop, and sight the law that prevents them from shipping here, but so far they appear to be pretty tight lipped with any real information.

gosh....I think there is someone in Illinois that can help you out. If I could just remember who that was..........Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I will preface this by saying that I no longer work for Northerner....that being said, WI did in fact pass a law that prohibits the online sale of tobacco products. That's why Northerner doesn't sell into Wisconsin, and that sucks if you live there. So, if you're a resident of WI a quick Google search will probably lead you to the law you're looking for. If I were a concerned resident of that great state, I'd be finding out which politician voted for the passing of said law and make sure to vote them out ;-)
