Wondering if anyone else in the US has had this snus issue.

So I have a local tobacco/liquor store that sells General, they only carry the US flavors, original,white,mint, winterG, and mini mint , and of them I only enjoy the white, although when pressed with regular portions or nothing I will do regular. They are constantly out of the white. So after a few months of verbally abusing cashiers I finally grumble some choice words about seeing a manager. So the manager comes out and tells me that they are REQUIRED to order equal amounts of the different flavors. So if she orders 4 rolls of white portions she must also order 4 rolls of every other kind. So they run out of white portions 2 days after they get the order, and I must wait a month to get another chance to win the lotto on this. I can order online, but then I have to drop a couple hundred dollars to come close to the store prices here after you factor shipping in.

Has anyone here ever heard such nonsense? That would be like going to a car lot and finding all they had left where purple cars, since they had to order equal amounts of purple to white ones.


So far I have stumbled in just after a shipment a couple times, and I buy EVERY white portion can they have, usually 2 full rolls... I was hoping the other white portion users would also complain, but it seems I am the only one.

Surprisingly no. The store near me that sells General typically has all of them in stock and before their expiration date. Sometimes I will go and pick up a few more to show General that I snus and I'm proud. The White portions are typically near the expiration date, while the original are 2 months or more away. Thus, I am assuming that they go through more Original than White at this particular store and order as such?

Give Pinkerton a call. They're in Owensboro. The phone number on the General cans labeled for the US rings Pinkerton, as they distribute for the US. Also, you should send me snus you buy there lol. No shops here sell in, and the one place in Lexington that does, wants $5/can. And the woman is very unfriendly lol.

If I were you I would talk to the owner and put my money where my mouth is. Tell he or she that genral white is your brand and you would like to pre-order some. I'm sure he/she would be happy to oblige.

Nope, been there done that. That's how I got to the equal quantities remark by offering to pre-order for the next shipment. This store doesn't desire my little 30-40 dollars a month budget. If I did 2 cans a day they might take notice.

Dude order some at lilbrown.com. They only have General, but the shipping is only $8 for ground. General cans are $3.25 and rolls of 5 are like $15.50. I think you could easily get General White and stay within your budget.

I used to use them after I bought 8 cans of expired snus at another retailer near me. I am on disability and the waiting period was very long, so at the time, I didn't have the cash to order enough to make $30 shipping worthwhile.
