    SNUSON Members deserve BETTER!

    Hi.... senior forum troll here.... you know me... the guy that post's more than comments? The one that enjoys posting, then sitting back and waiting for members reactions?

    Well... I'm actually going to post some of my original thoughts here... so this should be interesting.

    I recently wanted to order a roll of Thunder Cool Orange... and after doing some online shopping, I discovered either that it was not available at a particular store or it would cost me damn near $50 to order just a single roll...

    WTF?

    I finally had to place an order with my snus pimp to get a selection and pricing that were reasonable. Is this what the snus market has become? You need to order from your pimp just to get what you want at a reasonable price?

    But I digress...

    The real focus of this post is to complain about the "piss poor" way (IMO) the snuson online store is run and its limited selection of products.

    To begin, when is it going to be run by someone that actually posts here on a regular basis? Hell... why even have a store if you can't talk to support on a regular basis? Again, just my opinion.

    Secondly, it would be nice to see the store offer some real promo deals... don't you think that the Thunder Coola offer is getting old? My pimp offers better deals!

    Thirdly, how about offering some new releases and products that members actually want? And even more important... why can't we transfer our getsnus and/or northerner bonus points for use here?

    Now... don't get me wrong... there is one nice advantage, the fact that you get free shipping with a $100 order. It's ashamed that you have only a very small universe of products to pick from!

    Finally, I realize that sitting back and bitching is easy to do.... after all, I've made an art form of it on here and I don't mean to offend any of the mods or the founders of this forum... but please, for the love of God, wake up and smell the coffee!

    I hear ya. I'd fix it if I could, but...

    There's a lot of interesting things that could be done with the shop, but someone has to do them. Making it Yet Another Online Store® isn't the best use of resources though.

      I second Lx on this.............if the mods could fix it...........we would...........I also agree that it has so much more potential

        I don't believe this but I am agreeing with Bob on this one. His remarks were right on the money. Every one of them. Does Northerner even read this forum anymore? Snuscentral has a huge presence on chads forum and you can even request which products you would like to see on sale. I would definitely order from them if the shipping was cheaper.

              I do agree. but I believe the problem with new products lays in the FDA clearance on new products. Sure we can buy them from Sweden but they're illegal to sell in the states as of now. It does seem ridiculous that orange and coffee came out sometime around april and they still arent here. But I agree a lot more can be done with the store. And the deals with other stores COULD be better. I love Thunder Frosted. Sure i might get 2 rolls instead of 1 if an extra can gets put in with each roll....but I"m not going to order 10 cans of thunder coola which i dont want to begin with then be stuck with 11 freakin cans of the stuff. The deals probably could be better....if i want 5 cans of something im not going to order 10 so i can get one for free, especially on a product i dont particuarly like.

              On the other hand. do not bitch about our snus pimp. With the deals i got that arent available online he might as well have been paying ME money. That and being a 20 year old who can legally purchase tobacco but cant sign for it does make for quite vital use for such a pimp.

                I would never do such a thing! He is providing a valuable service to all of us. I'm just spoiled from the pre-PACT days where you could get three rolls and shipping for well under $50. I do question his taste in flavors though

                  I question how many newspapers he gets a day to fill boxes of orders up with like he does mine.

                      I like the thoughtful touch in my last snus pimp order, the newspaper int he box was the coverage of the Queen's Jubilee You don't get that from Northerner :P

                        Looks like the snuson store is no longer in existence now...I was almost had enough points to get a free roll!! Also I no longer exist on northener now. I suppose it is even more reason to give up snus (yes I'm a quitter!!), after I get through the cans I have.

                          ^^ Just noticed this.......right after seeing that the getsnus site is all jacked up, and that they did away with bonus points. I had enough for a free roll, so I logged on to use them, and get a message that club100 no longer exists, people will "be reimbursed over the next several MONTHS".

                          So my bonus points at both sites are gone. Looks like I'm gonna try and jump on the quitting train also, I'm sick of all the bullshit that trying to order snus brings, if it aint rediculous shipping cost or time, its some other crap......


                          EDIT: Just noticed GetSnus jumped their prices too. Last order I ordered 2 rolls of Thunder for $80.00. When I just checked the new price for 2 rolls is $107.00. A $27.00 price increase, AND my bonus points taken away? Even though the site says 10+ cans is $2.79/can, when I get to checkout it charges $3.98/ can.

                          F&*% this shit.
