There has to be a reason the price is so cheap....unless you are reading the best buy date wrong and you just got a bunch of old snus and didn't realize it. For your sake, I'm hoping that the shop is just happy making just 50-60 cents per tin. Something just doesn't seem right. If it were a cheaper snus I could see it....but not general snus.

Yea that would be an unbelieveable price for general even pre-pact.
That price is below General's wholesale price for retailers....by a good bit, lol.

The sell by date is written as 11 07 2012. Since the label is printed in English, it is best before November. It is what they've termed a "buyout promotion." It is a limited promotion that ends at the end of this month or may have already expired. If any RDU snusers want to make a trip out there or verify the validity of my claims, use the general locator and call the Fuquay Varina location.

If you think this is an insane price, apparently they were supplying additional coupons earlier this summer and prices were at ~$1.00 or less.

The best part about this transaction was I initially proceeded to purchase their entire stock. This includes the wintergreen and mint portion varieties I've grown to loathe. At that price I would be insane not to.

The cashier instead said, "I'll order whatever you'd like and it'll be here in two days." I purchased their stock of original portions and los, ordered 40 cans of original and 10 of los, and it arrived the day before I left as they indicated. The bulk discount brought each 5 can roll of snus to 8 or 9 bucks.

I honestly would have purchased more but didn't want an issue with TSA, and had very little space as it was in my suit cases.

In retrospect, and because of the fact I'll likely be out in the wilderness fighting forest fires and using a heroic amount of snus for the next month; I should have purchased at a MINIMUM, 150 additional cans and sent them through the post.

it seems my good fortune with purchasing snus has continued.

With my stock of los quickly depleting, I purchased a roll of general los and GES los through buysnus for $57 shipped. This was certainly a fair price and was shipped immediately. Unfortunately, I received 2 rolls of general los. I alerted buysnus of their mistake and they immediately shipped out a roll plus two additional cans of GES los and told me to keep the roll of general, bringing my per can price to $1.78 shipped!

More importantly than the cost was the exceptional service provided by buysnus. I will most certainly be purchasing all future snus through them.

Of course you will, being a sane person and all.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Or otherwise known as North American Northerner customers.......
