They were capable of not only great customer service - but also supporting the little-guy and coming here direct to talk openly with us about issues that were big for us. Sadly I think the days of Frank coming on here are over - but it might show some newer members that Northerner weren't always a faceless corporate entity - in fact a lot of us felt like we knew them personally - but not any more.
Seeing you brought it up again. Remember the 'retard' bit? And since then, Northerner has consistently underperformed - that was a long time ago.
When I first started snussing Northerner were excellent.
I emailed northerner to see where all my points went. This is the reply I got:
"We have done a systemchange. Unfortunately old order information can not be instead to the new system but you can check the link in your account for old order information.
We have changed the bonus system for the new site. We will compensate bonus points. You will receive coupons that will compensate for the lost bonus points you had on our old site. Not sure how long before the cupons will be distributed but it should be soon.
I think its about time we invested in some group therapy.

I had ordered from them on the 29th of September and yesterday my products was shipped.I'd say since they made a balls of launching the new website their swamped with complaints/orders and general mess-ups.I'd say you will get your snus question is when.
i have been following this thread since it started. i understand what's happening from a customers point of view. but even if i had the nerve to order their system would charge me two and a half times what it should.
My question is what logical reason would northerner let things go unfixed? maybe it is different for some people and the prices they are given are correct? Maybe the over pricing is limited to just a few? I don't know. I have sold most of my life and it just seems there must be more to this than they don't care. I feel like there must be a piece of the puzzle I am missing.
Ya know we should let up on northerner a bit. Surely it must be sunspots that are causing all the glitches.

I've done a bit of thinking about why it's all gone so wrong at Northerner:
I think they're re-locating most of their operations to the USA ... when they first opened the US warehouse it caused turmoil in the company for ages and ended up with many dis-satisfied customers, but they explained it to us here and we coped.
With all this EU stuff I think they are shipping most of their stock to the US warehouse so they can continue to send orders to the EU albeit with less reliable shipping. At least they will be able to still provide some kind of service to us over here.
This doesn't help anyone in the US who is also suffering from their corporate brain-spasm - and of course it doesn't excuse the blatant lack of service and customer service to go along with that ... but it may explain it.
