Hot damn... General snus at the local gas stations!

Roadrunner, a local shell chain just got a general fridge installed. They carry the normal original, white, wintergreen and mint portions for an oh so awesome price of $3.45 per can.

Now if someone locally would carry rape lingon I would be in heaven!

    This is around update SC

Awesome to hear Ainkor! And a pretty good price to boot! All we have in the c-stores up here in Chicago is the General in the square cans. Maybe Swedish Match finally realized that the snusing public wants more variety!

Very nice! I've only seen it at a few tobacco shops here (Kentucky), and maybe 1 liquor store. I can't wait to see snus in gas stations all over the place. It's pretty spendy out here, maybe $3.50-$3.75/can.

            Thanks Rick!

Here in PA they sell General in turkey hill stores. I think they are about the same price for the full(24 portions) of mint(white portion) and wintergreen. They also have the nordic mint and classic blend in trial packs which i think are 1.99

glad to hear about that. i wish northerner would have been able to bring us the other brands to local retail. it would be great news if they sold it here in local retail outlets.

Roadrunner market right in Clemson. Not sure if they have the cooler yet (I drive through there twice a week) but there is at least one in town.

A friend reported she's seen them in WI. I've bought the square cans that were meant for the US, oddly from Sweden. WAY better than anything I've tried that is considered to be US snus (AKA shite). This General was pretty good. I even ordered it a second time. The fact that there were only 15/can made it unworthy even though it was under $4. The price per piece is what it's all about for us addicts...well, at least for me. I will splurge on quality from time to time but managing cost for this vice has assumed rule on a regular basis.

I thought it was a cross between a General White and the non-minty US Camel snus (75/25 respectively). A good snus but not as good as the original General IMO. If the PPP were in line I'd keep some in the rotation but alas it isn't so far as I can tell.

Are they advertising 15 portions per can or 24?

I'll have to check and see if they have one yet. I checked the general store locator and it's not listed yet. I'll let u know when I find out.

I have a feeling the General Snus locator is only semi accurate. I decided to check my area again after reading this thread and saw 2 Chevrons listed that are on my way home. I was ecstatic until I called both stations and was told that they have no idea what General Snus is. According to the people at the Chevron station I am in luck if I start taking a liking to Camel or Marlboro snus.

Northerner did the best thing it could, and that was to give the distribution of all their brands to a real distributor of tobacco products. I now work for this company, doing almost the same thing, spreading snus all over the US. We've actually been far more successful than when I was at Northerner, but we haven't been updating the "store locator" as it's still owned by Northerner.

That being said, we're currently working on new websites for many of the brands & products in my portfolio, and each will have an accurate store locator. So, when they are up and running I will post a link here for everyone to utilize. In the mean time, keep the leads coming and I'll have my sales teams follow up. I know it's a rudimentary lead system, but it works ;-)

                            Best,

                            Rick

Hey Rick, do you think you could tell me if the RoadRunner in Seneca, SC has General yet? It might be located in Clemson, but I'm not sure because it's right on the edge of Seneca and Clemson.
