BuySnus: Ettan Kardus discount, and their customer service

Ettan Kardus has been price reduced from $39.06 to $27.34 at BuySnus, if anyone was considering it. Only mentioning it because I didn't see any kind of notice about it on their homepage or otherwise. Might be because it's approaching expiration date, I dunno.

Also, just wanted to praise BuySnus on their customer service on this last order; I didn't know if I wanted portions or los, but I only had enough for one roll -- and splitting it up into "some portion, some los" would remove the discount you get for buying a roll, which would put me over on my prepaid card. So, I ended up just ordering a roll of los, and left them a request/note on the order asking if they could replace a few cans of the roll with portions.

Checked my order status today on the site, lo and behold they modified my order to include some cans of portion in my roll, at the same price. Props to BuySnus there -- the shipping's also very fast (if not a bit expensive), the snus is always fresh, and they've been doing really well on discounts/deals lately to help ease the sting from the shipping. (-and- they ship to my state, while Northerner won't/can't.)

Maybe I sound like I work for them, but I really just wanted to share my experience and opinion. :P

I guess 3-day shipping across the world isn't cheap.. but I do wish they'd allow for a cheaper alternative, even if it meant losing the guaranteed delivery.

They would, if they could, but they can't, so they won't.

Pre-PACT, we had the option of having orders sent via Swedish Post. Much cheaper, like 9 or 10 bucks on an average order. But, no tracking and no guarantee on delivery. Now and then shipments would get lost, etc.

It cost me nearly $15 to send 30 cans with DC and tracking 500 miles within the states so I'm not sure why everyone is surprised it cost's $30 bucks to send a package of the same quantity across the atlantic for 4000+ miles. really doesn't seem that disproportionate to me...... Shit it cost me nearly $20 to send a gift basket containing 3 jars of jam from Maine to Oregon It took a week and I couldn't track it. Yeah it'd be nice to order snus thru Amazon and get free super saver shipping but It aint gonna happen. Be happy you get real fresh snus real fast and learn to play the game......

I think you misunderstand me. I am praising BuySnus, and defending the expensive shipping. I was just saying it would be nice.. don't "lecture" me about "playing the snus game", ass.

                  Ouch!

Lets get real here. The shipping costs are a rip. Would you buy a $35 shirt on ebay and be ok with paying $35 to ship it? It is not buysnus fault by any means. This is government regulation killing tobacco slowly.

I guess if it were a $75 dollar shirt and they were just trying to make theirs seem less expensive at first glance than made up for it on the back end. (see it all the time on Amazon) I hate the fact that we only have one shipping choice and have to sign for it. What you all don't realize is when it cost $10 bucks thru swedish post we were paying swedish shipping rates as USPS has agreements with other postal systems. So yeah it was awesome and still should be but the government is shitty. But the fact of the matter is it costs just as much to ship comparable quantities within our own country far less miles using USPS as it does to ship from 4000+ miles away over an ocean and it is often quicker......

If I pay $75 for a shirt, I would expect shipping to be free.

What's the difference between $75 with free shipping and $35 with $35 shipping. You don't order from Amazon a lot do You?
