Noone is going to get a can of general and then say "hey i'll probably start to like this over time." They might finish the can and then never buy it again and that puts them off from different brands that roll in. NJ cactus, Jak's melon, Thunder mint, catch eucalyptus, NJ cactus....they aren't my favorite but it is something more americans would be willing to try.
The FDA has a lot to do with it too, even if they wanted to bring new snus to market, it would probably take years to get the FDA approval.

Correct. The Ettan Trials didn't do well and are done, Ettan will not be coming into America. Other brands have been considered but at this time General is the main focus, and will remain that way for a while, it seems.

Thunder is being sold in America, as well as Jakobsson's. (And Oden's).

As far as NJ Cactus, Catch Eucalyptus, etc - see above. Swedish Match is focusing on General at this time, if anything else comes into the US, it will more than likely be another General product.

Perhaps you and I heard different things, but as of last week (last time I spoke with someone in distribution), I heard the next product coming into the US was another General product.

                Or, maybe Onyx!
Hope it's not something made just for Americans, like "General Yahoo Rodeo Salt and Vinegar Wild West BBQ" snus.

That would be awesome Rick -- if I could find any of your stuff in Milwaukee. As it stands right now, I'd have to drive to Illinois. And nobody should EVER be forced to go to Illinois.

For those of you in NC, I found a couple of tins of General Los at JR's in Burlington off I-40 just before Christmas. I've been meaning to check the one in Selma off I-95, but haven't gotten around to it.
