Canada post has finally caught on and starting raking the fukk out of snus orders. I started ordering from Northerner in 10th grade to quit smoking, and it used to be you could order 4-5 cans without getting dinged. Now 7 years later every single fukking order gets a 30$ tax on it. I have probably paid over 3500$ in taxes to keep my habit going, it's almost not even cheaper than smoking!
I stopped ordering from Northerner because they went to sh1t recently, now I'm doing snuscentral who have been very prompt but refuse to mark their packages as GIFTS. They claim they are an import export company and they declare their packages to a tee. It's not like it's illegal to ship snus as a gift, are they afraid of the big bad Canada post getting down their throats? It's also very annoying for my snus to be taxed as moist snuff.. not even in the same ballpark as swedish snus. The package says SNUS loud and clear, what the fuk is wrong with these people??
You can stop me drinking, smoking weed, but NOONE takes away my icetool and Ettan los. It's a part of me and I will never quit. Canada post recognizes this and feels they can tax me for something that's a 100% healthy alternative to cigarettes. Makes me sick that a proven safe product gets the same treatment as alcohol or cigarettes.
What's a brother supposed to do?
