I haven't only because they're pretty far from where I live. Next time I'm down there for dinner I plan on stopping in and picking up a cigar and checking out the snus selection.

If you mean discount smoke shop, they only carry General. I'll keep checking with them though!

YEP...that's them!! You NEED to let them know that you want these products, tell the manager that you'll buy what he brings in and to let Ray know. He's the buyer for the entire chain. I'm working with him now

What else can I ask them to order? The catalog I was looking at in the store only had Thunder, Oden's, and Jacobssons. And only a couple flavors of each.

Also...remember that the US brick and mortar retailers are different than an online retailer, in that they will try basic flavors in a brand and if the basic flavors sell, then and ONLY then will they bring in other flavors. They aren't going to carry EVERY flavor of EVERY brand in the beginning, but they will expand their offering if they can sell what they have...oh, and once the FDA approves these other newer flavors.

It's all over Lexington, brother :-) I know, I know...I need to hook up Louisville, and I'm certain that there's a chain of shops in the E-town area somewhere that carry Oden's and Thunder.

I actually just PM'd you about this. Do any of these shops carry Thunder Frosted? I don't mind driving an hour and a half. Also, we need to grab a beer Rick. I've been in and out of the country so much that we never got around to grabbing one. Hope you're well bro!

Samaha's seems to be doing well with it. They were selling through their General, and I know they got another shipment from you guys while I was there the other day. Louis and the guy who works with him always talk my ear off about snus now. And to think two years ago he was completely against selling it. I feel like he should give me a portion of his snus profits. LOL

Overall, I think the industry is undergoing a shift towards a more open mind and understanding for snus. It's been interesting for me to watch it change from the very beginning, when I first started preaching about snus to these retailers. I've watched guys that said they'd NEVER sell snus, pick it up and start doing very well with it. That aspect of this journey has been very satisfying to me. We're nowhere close to where we need to be guys/gals...the smokeless tobacco industry is 3.8Billion, and snus is only 178Million of that....this number include Camel SNSU (purposely misspelled, lol) and the rest is primarily General and our brands. I'm very excited about the potential, because I've talked to many industry analysts who feel that snus will be a full third of the Smokeless category in around 10yrs.

Rick, thanks for the information brother! I'll get back to your PM ASAP. Let me know next time you're in town. I'm heading to London & Berlin next month for job interviews, but anytime before/after would be perfect.

Good luck on the interviews, I'll probably be heading to Dortmund first week of September for a show. If I get out to your end of KY before then, I'll give you a shout :-)
