Snussgross.com Experience

Howdy.

I am wondering if anyone has experience with http://www.snusgross.com. I saw it first mentioned in the thread here about the best online sites. Currently, they show free shipping.

The price of cans are a few bucks more than the other places, but the shipping definitely makes up for that. I made a mock order last night and 6 cans would be about $35 whereas that would be closer to 70 on the others.

If no one has anything bad to say, or if there's not much experience with them, I'll be the guinea pig here and place an order. (I have so far only tried the General line offered in the USA and am looking to expand )

Immediate thoughts...Having a background in computers and assessing websites for a living the site is pure crap. That doesn't necessarily mean they aren't a reputable business that can be trusted it just means they didn't put much money into building the site. The prices are inflated obviously because of the free shipping but the Ving's and Oden's Cold are very reasonable. Very tempted to place an order of one can just to see but really can't afford to get ripped off (not meaning the $3 but meaning my CC information). Also really dumb name for a site lol. Great find though, thanks. Can't wait to hear GN's input.

Edit: After digging more apparently Jag has ordered from them before they had free shipping and they have almost 2000 likes on facebook. Starting to look more legit to me.

One last thing and I will stop littering this and the thread where snusgross was mentioned. I just created an account and added Ving99 and Ving Fudge went through the whole process of address clicked free shipping and everything, got to the payment option and said no payment options were available to me and to contact them lol. Looks like US purchase is a bust.

Same here...shitballs! $56 bucks for 20 cans of Odens cold and free shipping...but of course no payment options for US. FARK!

Ack, didn't realize the US payment thing. I could have sworn I saw a Visa logo somewhere on that site.
Paconut: Agreed the site isn't top stuff but if it's cheaper to buy some snus I can live with it.
As far as the name, I have some German experience and agree with Darwin. I didn't even see it as the English version :P

Oh well, some things are too good to be true, I suppose?
I'll have to go further with the mock and see what payment options are available. Maybe there is a way I can pay them and get my snus through a European service. Will explore more when I get home from camping.

Ok, I guess this is defunct. Like the others before me, it simply says "No payment options available." when you get to the payment options part of the checkout. Thanks everyone for the help, I guess I'll go find snus elsewhere

lil brown is offering free shipping through July but they only have AG snus (all currently out of stock) and General. Perhaps Rick can hook them up with a better selection. They pay taxes for my state and the shipping is about 1/3 of the normal cost of ordering from overseas.

What did you order? I have only used them once so far but they seem pretty good. I will be set if they ever carry Ettan los. I sent them an email asking them to get it but they did not give me a reply.

GV from what I understand they will not be able to get Ettan...............SM is only releasing General in the states for sale and distribution..........

I considered Lil Brown even before I found this site way back when because I wanted to try some stonewalls. I am one of many states they don't ship to so if you are one of the lucky ones then congrats.
