Northerner came good for me ... the end of the story

For regular visitors of SnusOn - it will have been hard for you to avoid my bi-monthly rant against Northerner in relation to the last order I placed with them when they were suffering from some pretty serious website problems towards the end of 2012.

I won't go in to the whole story - but essentially a large order arrived a very long time after it was placed and all 50 cans were so dried up and stale that they were unusable ... I could see that some of the cans had been sent out past their expiry date from the postmarks on the packages. The web problems obviously extended to their customer service at the time and after several failed attempts to get a satisfactory result - I decided to just go around with a huge chip on my shoulder about Northerner.

ANYHOW ... Thanks to Northerner's new rep here, Johanna, and a good word put in for me by my good friend Premium Parrots - I have taken delivery today for the complete order I placed back in 2012, the cans I have opened are all fresh as a daisy, well within their expiry dates ... and I also got 10 free cans for my trouble! I couldn't be happier with the result.

The very fact that they saw my complaint here, investigated the case from over a year ago, and swiftly rectified the problem I have regained full confidence that the company is once again seriously trying to put customer service first. I wouldn't think twice about ordering from them again in the future if they're the competitive option.

    Thanks to all concerned!

The Northerner has always been great for me in every way.....especially incredible fast ship!

Nice for Squeezy to sum up his experience with the company.

And as Frosted mentioned, I too hope that Johanna continues to follow us here at the forum.

It's great to have makers and merchants involved on this site (especially when they are Swedish girls)

Oh well ... I suppose that means you've only got 35 years of catching up to do then!

When I was a kid I thought you guys were pretty far behind us in pop culture and style. I didn't realize the Benny Hill reruns I was seeing were a decade+ old :^D

I think Benny Hill's great, and he was a favorite of my daughter also.

So you all still like Benny Hill? ... I can't say I'm surprised ...

If you want to know where I'm at in the comedy stakes ... take a look at this

It's kind of retro-post-python meets childish slapstick

PS - if you can get as far as the elastic balls ... it's definitely worth it!

That's true Squeezy, he was already dead before we knew who he was. But we didn't know he was dead. It doesn't matter. We love him!

From Wiki: "Although still shown worldwide, The Benny Hill Show has not been shown on UK terrestrial, networked television since a tribute season on Channel 4 in 1992, and not on satellite or cable since a run on the now defunct channel Granada Plus – now ITV3 – in 1999. To quote his biographer Mark Lewisohn, "In Britain, Benny Hill is taboo".

Why is that??? He was a genius!
