    Hi,

can somebody tell me how it is with customs in your country please? I am from Czech republic and it is expensive to send some snus here. My uncle is working in Switzerland so I thought I can send order from online store to him and he can bring it to the Czech.. but I don´t know how is your customs working.. ?

    Thanks for reply

Welcome to Snuson. I have no direct knowledge on the subject, but from other posters it seems that Switzerland does charge customs: http://www.snuson.com/showthread.php...l=1#post386818

      Hi,

Customs here are simply ridiculous. there's a law saying it's ok to import snus for personal consumption, up to 1.2 kg every three months. upon importation, you'll face 8% vat plus tobacco tax. if your order is imported by swiss post, they'll charge you an additional "service fee" of approx. CHF 35.

every 2 months i order 1.2 kg (=28 cans of loose snus) from buysnus.com, delivered by UPS. never had an issue with importation, but i always get slapped with CHF 89 in taxes and fees. so one can of loose snus costs me ~ CHF 10.00. :-(

      hope this helps!

      cheers,
      vincent

Your best bet, depending on what you want to order, is going through somewhere not in Sweden - which is a red flag for customs. Alternatively, if you're in the Geneva area, let me know and I'd be happy to give you a few tins for free.

I've had no problems with them. Keep it small - with the free shipping it's easy to do. No promises but again I've had zero issues.

in my experience the stuff from sweden gets nabbed by customs much easier. (again, for those who don't know - snus is legal to import here, it's just the fees from customs that makes things painful.) if you're going the snusline route there's no reason to order 10 at a time, since they have free shipping. just do a few cans each time, or whatever you think you'll go through in a month. you can even order just one can at a time if you really want, since you're not paying shipping you don't have to bundle and order large amounts. 10 cans I think would be cutting it close, given the size of the package - they'd probably flag it. I'd probably keep it to 6 or less. I mostly order a 3 or 4 at a time. (haven't ordered in a couple of months however - got a big stash from a friend in sweden that's keeping me happy.)

Do you know a source for swedish match products located outside of sweden?

Last time I ordered 4 Can from Snusline, I payed CHF 38.00 tax :-( When I order just 2 Can, then there is NO tax.
For 1-2 Can the Tax amount is to small to do the paperwork for custom. That's why there is no tax at all.

But because there is free shipping, I dont care to order every few day days 2 Can :-)
