Buying snus from eBay ... would you?

A casual search on eBay brought up the following listings:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SWEDISH-SNUS-/201045605079

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENERAL-WH...item4d19a0b276

I can't say that I'm that interested ... but it's one way to buy Swedish Match products in the UK I suppose ... I didn't know that eBay would allow it.

Have done and will still do, was bored one day and found someone selling Skruf Slim Fresh for £10 for 5 cans, I bought it, was fresh, no complaints here. FYI its legal to buy tobacco from ebay.de if it has a german tax stamp on it, not useful for snus but handy if you like Oliver Twist Sunberry, which I do

The first one is an open can! Says 'seal broken'. Forget it.
If they were sealed rolls with a good date, and super cheap, maybe I'd bid.

IDK about ebays policies about selling tobacco outside of the USA but I VERY MUCH doubt if its allowed. I do know that it is against Paypal policy to use their service to do any type of tobacco transactions. Paypal takes this VERY seriously and the offender will likely lose their paypal account. Those auctions will probably be reported and removed before too long. I'm sure every once in a while an auction like that gets thru the cracks tho.

Ebay tobacco guidelines say Not Allowed "Any item containing tobacco and intended for consumption" for the US.

I see the auction for the general white is gone now.....it was there a bit ago but now when I click on the link the page goes to envelopes. I even searched with the item number and the envelopes come up. There is no notice of the item being sold or removed....just a page of a bunch of envelope auctions. wth.

I don't have a problem with it in principle, but I'd have to be pretty hard up to go the Ebay route. The quality's unknown, and the seller might not know what they're selling. You could end up with a tin of Ettan from 1974. The metal lid would be cool, but you can't snus a lid.

the real question is.........would you buy a fleshlight off of ebay

                    ahhhhh........now who has the stones

(and it can't be a fleshlight you are sending to GN as a gift....)

If it was a tin of Ettan from 1974 I'd buy it just to smell it! Just not sure about a tin of General White Mini Portions that's brand new for $10 (and has now turned in to envelopes or marshmallows)

I had the item number saved and now nothing comes up when I enter the number. I should have saved the item to my watch list.

Starting bid of £6.99 for the other one though ... not bad for a "pot" of snus that expired a week ago

Another one's come along based in the UK - I didn't realise it was so often.

                              http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nick-and-J...item4ad16a46cb

5 cans of N&J Crushed Ice for £29.99 - shame it's not one I like.
