    Finding Snus

    Hi all,
    I've been an on and off snus user, due to the price with tax and every order over the past year has been through customs. I had used Northerner a few times. The last order never got sent, no explanation or response from Northerner. So I'm looking for somewhere to get my snus, maybe in Pennsylvania? Or Buffalo? I'm trying to avoid online, as customs kills my wallet. Any recommendations or locals would help a lot. Thanks

        What was your Northerner order #? Without an order number I would have to question that this occurred. If you contacted Northerner there would also be a ticket #. So short of providing a Northerner order number and ticket number we can't verify an order was placed and Northerner ignored your requests for the order status. If Nrhterner failed to ship an order and provide support then I would agree that this type of service is unacceptable. Please provide these reference numbers.

          Right, no need to be diplomatic anymore because a new member with two posts says he ordered from Northerner and never received his order plus no response from Northerner. Not buying it without backup this is only fair to other members and Northerner.

          Here is my verifiable Northerner order: 6300035844 ordered Sunday night. Available for pick-up at today at UPS terminal today, tracking number 1Z417073A647390369

            markc05, these stores carry General in Buffalo and Erie. You might want to call first to make sure they are in stock.

              Mark ... you have to understand that there has been plenty of dissatisfaction with Northerner, historically discussed here at length - particularly about their customer service when things go wrong. General consensus is that they are getting back on track both with responding to tickets and fulfilling orders.

              Welcome to SnusOn by the way ... I can assure you that the forum is not trying to be aggressive towards you ... just a particular member who I would advise you to ignore ;-) ... if you stick around I'm sure there will be plenty of good advice from our resident Canadians when they see your post.

              All of us here knows how tough it can be getting an order in to Canada from the horror stories we've read here ... it's unfortunate - but sometimes living in a country with tough customs means that the online store you're ordering from cannot guarantee a safe delivery! You have to either find alternative means - or take the risk I'm afraid.

              My advice would be to get back in touch with Northerner through their official channels and ask why your order was never sent - if you had no response the last time - ask them why ... and let us know how you get on here. You will always get a better response if you try and not lose your temper with them (I know it can be frustrating and I've failed to be so diplomatic at times dealing with their customer service!) ... any information about how your transaction gets resolved will be fantastic feedback as to whether the rest of us should be using Northerner or one of their competition ... be it positive or negative.

                  I am in agreement with Squeezy other then ignoring me... . I think Northerner will respond but you can't make accusations without credible backup. So order # and ticket# is required for backup. I will consider a non response as no order or ticket was created but if you have this information I will be the first to support your accusations and help to resolve if possible. As Burnsey advised contact Johanna direct and she will address any issues. Johanna@northerner.com Keep us updated please.

                              Yes. It's not like he was promoting another site; just looking for a new source. It's not a big stretch that Northerner screwed up an order.
