Well do I have any numbers associated to Northerner? No, it was about a year ago or so ago, I was displeased with the customer service, and I was not down a lot of money, so I abandoned Northerner. I was talking about driving, as I frequent Buffalo area somewhat occasionally. I also go down to Pit for Steelers games.

All of us here knows how tough it can be getting an order in to Canada from the horror stories we've read here ... it's unfortunate - but sometimes living in a country with tough customs means that the online store you're ordering from cannot guarantee a safe delivery! You have to either find alternative means - or take the risk I'm afraid.
My advice would be to get back in touch with Northerner through their official channels and ask why your order was never sent - if you had no response the last time - ask them why ... and let us know how you get on here. You will always get a better response if you try and not lose your temper with them (I know it can be frustrating and I've failed to be so diplomatic at times dealing with their customer service!) ... any information about how your transaction gets resolved will be fantastic feedback as to whether the rest of us should be using Northerner or one of their competition ... be it positive or negative.

Sounds like a good solution for you. My problem (albeit for a large order that had gone wrong) was sorted out by Johanna from Northerner via SnusOn despite being about a year after it had happened.
You will have the order number under your Northerner login account details - and probably in your emails.
However I think sometimes the amount of time we have to spend in order to bring companies to account when things go wrong - then as a self employed person - it loses me money to chase it! So totally understand if you're leaving it - and that can leave a bad taste in the mouth!Squeezyjohn

I dont think there is any tax on smokless in PA aside from sales tax. It was like that when i left three years ago. I bought Cope long cut at a wawa when i was home in June and it was cheap, under 4, maybe 3.5. In SC now and long cut with tax is over 4.

I'm so sorry to hear that you've had bad experience with us at Northerner in the past. We're at the moment trying to really improve the company and the customer service. I can understand if you, as mentioned, don't feel like going back ordering with us if other options are working for you. Hey Mark, I'll be interested to hear how it goes for you bringing it back from the states by car. I haven't bothered with that approach as you need to be in the U.S. for 24 hours before you can bring back any tobacco tax free and I don't have the balls to load up a trunk-full.
I've found that almost all parcels are caught by customs now. SnusCentral has a 15 for the price of 10 on General loose right now. I placed an order and sent them a message asking them to put it all in one parcel rather than splitting it into 3 parcels of 5. Each time customs inspects a package it's $10, so this saved me $20. Total cost per tin for this order worked out to just over $12, about 2/3 the price we pay for General portion at the stores here. Plus it got to me a week from the day I ordered it.
Another option is to look at snusline. There's less variety but for some reason most of their packages slip by customs.

Mark....it sounds like you live near the border. Would it be possible to make a friend from buffalo? Then you could simply have an order from another site sent there and drive it back with you?

Mark you are in good hands and should have a resolve if you decide to pursue it.
I am pleased to say that the improvements in Northerner's CS have been noticeable over the last year or so......which is a good thing for all of us........the more access, the more distributors, the more makers.....the better.
