Does Northerner show off package contents on customs?

Well, I've been using snus over the last year or so. I've only bought it at my local Sheetz stations, and even then it's only General White or Original. Obviously, I must be the only guy who buys General there, but damn do they move some Camel (bleh). My usual purchases go something like this:

"Hey, I'd like a can of General White Portion."
    "Uhh, we don't have that."
*points to the huge $1.99 sign hanging in the window*
"Oh, the fridge snus?" (Pronounced like bus)
"Yeah, Snus, you know, like moose?"
    "Yeah."

Anyway, it happens about every two days, no joke. I'd like to order online, but really afraid of my girlfriend seeing the customs label. Does Northerner list the contents on the box? Like, "40 cans, Snus." I'd love to do it, but deathly afraid of walking into the house to find a catatonic woman with a pile of burning portions (Hurts thinking about it)

By the way, first thread and totally afraid of breaking the hidden etiquette here.

Box will say Swedish snus and smokeless tobacco. Have it sent to a friends house maybe? And buysnus.com is having a big sale right now...

Why would your girlfriend have a problem with snus? It's better than cigs or dip....sooooooo, what's the deal?

        Two words:

        Camel Snus.

The brand killed the idea of snus for her. She won't even listen to the MULTITUDES of studies I've shown her.

If I was feeling rude - I'd tell you to man up and order the good stuff ... who has the right to control what you put in your mouth?

But we all know there can be politics about using snus in the family ... the fact is that you can't use it in earnest and keep it a secret - that just puts an immediate strain on the relationship. Yes it's more discreet than smoking - but you can't seriously keep it a secret forever ... secrets kill relationships. You'll need to be honest and sooner is better than later ... use persuasive arguments and the many scientific studies out there that support snus as the absolutely safest way to consume tobacco anywhere in the world. If she doesn't listen to that then you'd be better off finding someone more open minded IMO.

Or you could just quit I suppose.

Just explain to her that you're making a choice to use a safer product and that if she can't get behind you on this, then she just doesn't care that much for you ;-)

I don't really see the problem when you're in a long term relationship with a person. Just tell her the benefits of snus rather than other tobacco products.

My ex girlfriend was happy that I was using it. The only problem comes when you have to make out - she didn't like the salty flavour. But after some months together, you stop making out in random moments... And when you know that you're going to have sex, you just don't use it

I actually had some issues while I was dating a girl. I didn't know when the moment of making out would come, and it's a bit embarassing to tell her "Wait just a second" and spit out the snus...

I've heard that kissing a smoker is like licking an ash tray, so kissing a snuser can't be that great either.......I doubt that I'd put a lip lock on a women while she's got tobacco in her mouth ...just me maybe

I don't think that snus gives you a bad breath. You just need to take off the portion, maybe have a sip of water, and you're quite ok. At least, that's what my ex gf told me. She wasn't disgusted by the snus taste tho, she just found it "salty".

Pretty simple...just ship to your local UPS terminal list UPS c/o John Doe then use the UPS street address, city, state and zip code with your phone number. UPS will call you when package is avail for pick-up.

That is feasable, but a first order may requirethat shipping be to the CC holders address (?).......another option is to sign up with "My UPS" and have the shipment diverted to a a UPS terminal once it is shipped, they do charge $ 5 to do it though
