However, even with limited choices......the sale is still a good way to stock up on some basics.

Just received an e-mail about this "joke" sale! I can purchase the majority of what they are offering locally for much less than their sale price. Additionally, their selection is bad... really bad... none of my favorite SM go to's are offered. What a waste...

Hey guys! About the selection of snus: Of course, we want to give you a wider range of snus to choose from. The limited selection depends on the customs in the US/EU who is really strict about what you can/cannot bring in and out of the country. We are constantly trying to find new solutions to be able to offer a wider range of snus. As soon as there will be any news we will announce it here. Until then I hope you will enjoy our current selection!

While I accept that our possible choices are limited in the EU due to political factors and certain companies who do not want their products sent here - there are other web-shops available for us that carry a wider selection that Northerner does.

And I can't believe that is true for the US when buysnus has such an extensive range and ships to the US from Sweden.

Skruf Xtra Strong portions and Nord 66 Strong portions, Jakobssons Dynamite. I'm in the EU and obviously I'd love the Swedish Match stuff but know we can't get it ... but Snusline carry the stuff made by Skruf.

It would be Skruf Xtra stark slim white for me (loving that at the moment) or the whole skruf lineup. Obviously I want SM snus but that just won't happen. Some JTI or F&L snus would be great too.

Thunder and off-road don't cut it for me, I just can't use them.

Hi!

The mainly reasons we had to cut our range of snus down is for the FDA and the PACT act law.

Since the PACT act (Prevent All Cigarette) was signed into law by President Barack Obama the Tobacco market online was affected. PACT act law was created to stop tobacco smuggling and to limit the online Tobacco business. The law includes:

- Any form of snus sales (and all other tobacco for that matter) must pay tobacco tax.
- US mail, US Postal Service, will not handle tobacco Products. (that's why we are using UPS)
- All snus products must be labeled with the correct warnings about possible health risk in english. (several of our suppliers don't have that)

In short, the law is designed to make it harder for minors to buy snus.

We can therefore for now offer products that was legal in the US Before PACT act, and product's who are labeled with the correct warnings about possible health risk in english.

We at Northerner are respecting this new regulations and I can not answer how others online stores handling it. We are at the moment looking at all opportunities to be able broaden our range of snus without go against the new regulations. For exampel we are in the middle of a negotiating with a supplier so we might can get some new products out in the nearest future.

Do you feel satisfied with that answer, or do you want me clarify something?

We have seen this with a one other online store to date.....ugly labels on top and around the cans....it looks like we need to get used to it

Not sure how stickers on snus Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking (PACT). I wrote to my Congressman, Jesse Jackson Jr., when PACT started, but he went crazy and was sent to prison for theft, and never got back to me. My Governor went to prison, too. Maybe I should complain to a Kardashian.
