    General Pure Scotch Whisky

As I don't drink whisky I have made a decision to sell my bottle of General Scotch.

what General Whisky you might ask? What is this. Well many years ago Swedish Match produce several bottle of General Brand scotch whisky but due to a licensing issue they could not sell them.

I was lucky enough to acquire this bottle as a gift the last time I visited Stockholm

Cool stuff. I didn't know SM did that.

I'm an eBayer, been selling on there for 13 years now, as a hobby and also as a full-time job for 5 years of that....I have a suggestion on your listing. You need to add more to the title. It just says "General Snus Whisky". The most important part of a listing is the title because most people only use the search function and are only searching in the title field, so that's why it's super important. You want more hits and better views in eBay as well as Google, Yahoo, etc. , you have to have more key words in there....so you need to add more to the title. My suggestion:

General Snus 2007 12 year Pure Malt Scotch Whisky SEALED Bottle in Collector's Tube

Something on those lines. IDK if 2007 is the right year or not (the year it's bottled)...it might say on the bottle and I can't see it in your pics, but it's something on those lines since you said you've had it for 8 years. Might be a code somewhere on the bottle with a year. I hope if you take my suggestion, it helps you sell it.

And also be careful about the shipping service you offer for international shipment...I know that Royal Mail International going to the US will be transferred to US Postal Service to do the final delivery and liquor is prohibited in the mail. So you would have to use DHL, UPS, FedEx or something on those lines to have it delivered in the US. IDK about other countries besides the US, but I'd say most mail services are going to have the same or similar prohibitions.

For a blended Scotch whisky, it's not bad at all. If you can't sell it unopened, drink it and enjoy it with some General snus. When the bottle is empty, you can sell it and the box on eBay as a collectible.

Swedish Match was going to do the same thing with coffee since all their snus stores in Sweden have coffee bars....bags of General Coffee, Ettan Coffee, etc. The concept made it all the way up to their lawyers...who beat them over the head with the bags of coffee and said "NO!" for the same reason they killed General Scotch Whisky.
