Got a can of Gotlands Yellow Los with my roll of Offroad Original. I wonder if they are trying to coax me into buying premium priced snus again by tossing this into my package. :lol:

Interestingly enough, I knew that was what was in there just from that unique smell that came out of the bag as I opened it.

Will be interesting to revisit the stuff. I stopped ordering it as I could never enjoy the flavor for extended periods. I'm about to shovel up a pris and see if my thoughts about it have changed at all.

Still not impressed.

Loaded up about 3-4ml. Kept it in for about 45 min and realized why I hadnt ordered any in quite some time.

That one can will probably still be in my fridge when im on my last can of the roll I got at the same time :lol:

I find it comes apart too easy, not easy to bake and comes on too strong. Phantom Blue Los is mellow by comparison!

They threw in a free can of Elixyr, which is cool since it'll be nice to try portions for the first time.

I dont find the taste of the gotlands too overpowering, nor do I have any issues keeping it together.

I don't dislike the stuff, I just dont thing it is spectacular either. I am actually contemplating drying out the can I got and grinding it a bit finer and trying it as a nasal snuff

Nasal snuf... very interesting, I never tought of that with the Gotlands. I bet it would be kinda similar to King George by Wilson's of Sharrow (great stuff). How would you gind it, mortor and pedestal? I like to know how it turns out.

King George always smelled like baby powder and flowers when I snuffed it; good mellow stuff.

The Elyxir I got was peppermint. I was kind of hoping it was the energy one when I received it, but I'm not going to complain one bit for a free tin. I tried it and didn't particularly like it. I think that I frankly don't like the overly sweet or flavored snuses. I had a similar problem with the LD Portions I just tried and with Phantom Blue (no offense Xobe). I'll keep trying them though, especially the portions for those times at work when I can't take a two minute break to bake a good pris. So far my favorites are los Roda Lacket, Grasnus, and General. Funny how your tastes change though; I find that Roda Lacket sometimes doesn't taste the same.

I just received my order placed last Friday (1 roll of los Skruf Stark and 1 roll of los Roda Lacket) today. One week...not too bad.

However, when I opened my bag of goodies, instead of my roll of Roda los was a roll of Roda portions. Well, I'm not much of a portion person. In fact, I've never tried portions. I also received, as my "free gift" a tin of Elixyr Original.

Anyway, I wrote to BuySnus telling them the mishap and asking for an address to return the Roda portions to. They promptly wrote me back saying they would immediately send me a roll of los and that I could keep the Roda portions as compensation. WOW! I never expected that! Talk about customer service!!

Has anyone had the Roda portions? How does it compare to the los? I'm not going to open the log as I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. If the Roda portions are comparable to the los I may give them a try.

I have never had the portions, only the los. From what I have read here on the forums is that the portions have a more notable fruity sweetness than the los does.

But again, that is only what I have read.

As far as the gotlands into snuff idea, I dont own a mortar. my plan is to just put it into a bowl and grind on it with the butt of a shot glass.

I have it drying out as we speak, but I have a feeling the drying process is going to take a few days.

it seems to me that your "random" bonus can tends to be something you may have ordered a few times. My recent one was an Elixyr PE, as I've ordered a roll of it and it's dirty little brother Elixyr "Pepparmint".
