Possible US supplier!!!!! Your help required.

Hi all.

I have found a possible future snus supplier in the US.

The company is called Lil Brown Smoke Shop. Located in Oregon.

They are a tobacco shop, but have a line in with Swedish Match North
America already, for their Redman products.

I spoke with a nice lady and asked for her to check out getting the
SM products and she said she would see how this goes. She mentioned
that they have already received requests for Camel Snus. So our
job is to get them to stock the real deal.

They are a good company. My idea is that if they start stocking SM
products we'll be able to get them shipped around the US using UPS
or FEDEX (not the USPS) without having to pay 30.00 or so.

I am asking as many of you to look at their site and then write them
an email or call them and ask them to stock the SM products, and
any others they can do. Drop a line on this post if you send them
a letter or call them, this way we and everyone knows that we are
making enough requests.

If we send enough valid and polite requests I am sure they will
take notice. Also if you commit to buying from them, I am sure
they will appreciate it and it will entice them into trying this
out.

I live in WA, so it would make sense to give them a call since the shipping wouldn't be too far. Thanks for the tip.

Conceivably though wouldn't any US store selling SM products be able to ship to you? They would probably have to charge a handling fee of course, to pay the labor or filling up an envelope and putting it in the mail. Just a matter of making it worth their while.

Let me say that Lil Brown is an excellent shop. I order Java Stonewall in five packs from them, and used to order Dean's 'lil Cigars. They have always been terrific to deal with, and usually throw in some freebie with an order. I, too, wish I could order my favorite Swedish snus from them, along with the Stonewall.

I just called and spoke to "Mindy", I asked her if they carry Swedish snus, she said "Swedish what?". I repeated myself and she said "uuuhh No." I thanked her. I think it's going to take many of us calling and requesting it.

Pony - yes in I think generally we are going to run into this sort of thing, people not knowing what we are talking about.

I called and asked for "the person who buys things" and got the purchaser/supplier. Name of Nancy or something.

Maybe I missed it but the selection seems very small. I was thinking we get as much SM products to Lil Brown, get them to see there is a market for it, then they diversify and get more from other suppliers.

As they are purely a tobacco store, and a good one at that, they can do a decent job in the snus arena, I hope.

Rob - I understood that UPS and FEDEX will deliver but you have to be an adult to sign for it?
