What's new with shipping to USA

Hi y'all.

I am checking in with y'all and would like to start off by saying I hope everyone is good.
I have been out of the loop and behind the scenes. I bought a house a little over two years ago and started smoking cigs again. Consequently I stopped ordering snus from 🇸🇪 I have been buying General WP or General Mint from my local 7-11, but it just hasn't been doing it for me anymore. (Unless I double up on portions every time) so I was back to smoking 20+ cigs a day. One day last week I decided to buy a couple cans of Cope original FC and use it in my upper lip like snus. So I kicked cigs again but now feeling the consequences of swallowing dip spit and having a lip in all day and night. So I ordered me some snus from snuscentral and there was some disclaimer about new government regulations and longer wait times.

so my question is does anyone know what the regulations re all about? And how much longer delivery time are we talking about? Ordering from snuscentral or buysnus always took three business days in the past.

The only thing that has changed is that shipping to the US may take longer for some. On average for me it's been 2 days. But I've seen some reporting almost a week delay.

This is because they're hand checking a lot of shipments now. One of the retailers shipping to the US wasn't age/signature verifying, and they weren't labeling their packages correctly - they did this to make shipping cheaper. FDA found out, now there's been some delays for packages to be checked to ensure they're handled properly and according to PACT.

I didn't want to make a new thread, but was wondering, what is the company with the best shipping price in the USA? I mean, I live in the US, and was thinking of ordering some snus, which I have not done so in a LONG time.. so I was at the Northerner site, their US site, items in the US, and their cheapest shipping was $20... and all I had in my cart was 4 Maklas.... That's just too much... I was thinking $7 at the most... is this how it is everywhere? Thanks.

Hi, Tom. I live in Illinois, and Bernie’s list sounds about right. I usually wait until SnusCentral has sales where they throw in a few extra cans with each roll ordered on my favorite brands, and make a few large orders per year. Helps take the bite out of shipping, and orders are usually at my door in three days from Sweden. General is the only Swedish snus I can find locally.

In Pa. Shipping is crazy. That being said I'm more determined now than ever to learn how to make my own snus. Growing tobacco is easy, the process is a new thing I will learn.

Shipping is a killer because it’s been so long, I don’t remember which brands I liked enough to buy a whole roll of (without paying a lot of shipping for multiple cans). I wish there was an option.
